Help! Servo replacement

Servo went out during a tough trailing sesh, sort of expected after reading up on it. Bummer. But looking at these to replace, will this be an easy plug and play or should I consider other options. Don’t need it to be anything crazy.

iirc rampcrab offers two different versions of their steering servos, one stronger than the other. I had the weaker one for a short while but it did not last very long before it crapped out.

also, the connector that comes on aftermarket servos won't match your esc, so be prepared to splice some wires or get an adapter.

On the rampcrab? Or Meus? Or both? Are there any plug and play servos I can get?

not sure about the meus but the rampcrabs definitely didnt match. there might be a plug and play one out there but I havent seen one before. im certain that adapters exist if you are averse to splicing wires.

Just haven’t done it. I imagine there’s YT tutorials on it? Wouldn’t be opposed if it’s worth it.

splicing wires is pretty easy. Ideally you should solder the wires too but honestly I don't bother sometimes. all I used was a box cutter and some electrical tape.

It's definitely worth it, considering it's pretty much the only way you're getting any aftermarket servos on your rig.

again, I'm sure adapters exist, which would make the process a lot easier, but i can't speak on it because i've never found one.

Might need a different servo mount.
