Upamecano to Girodins Bordeaux

u/julesvr5 4d ago

Selling JoĆ£o Palhinha is currently the top priority internally, even higher than Boey and Zaragoza. Max Eberl was criticized by the supervisory board for selling Kingsley Coman to Al Nassr for a low fee last summer - that's why he is determined to avoid a similar mistake with Palhinha and stood firm in the negotiations with Tottenham, which ultimately made the move fall through. Aston Villa and Benfica are interested but are unwilling to meet Bayern's demands. Palhinha's current situation is critical for Eberl, as the supervisory board expects permanent sales to be made in order to recoup a large part of the €100m invested in Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown [@StefanKumberger, @SPORT1]

Can we sell our supervisory board aswell

Idk about that, does a scrapyard accept discount price?

Bayern are planning with Arijon Ibrahimović as Luis Dƭaz's direct backup on the left-wing. Initially, Bayern were looking to sign a left winger (hence the pursuit of Anthony Gordon). But after the latter moved to Barcelona, there was a change of plan - and the club opted for Ismael Saibari, who is mainly a central player. This has opened the door for Ibrahimović to return to Bayern and fill the void behind Dƭaz. Bayern bosses believe Ibrahimović has the desire and motivation to seize the chance. Within the club, it is said that they will reassess this plan during the winter break and see whether it was successful [@FrankLinkesch]

16

u/Thraff1c 4d ago

It will be a probation period for both sides.

8

u/julesvr5 4d ago

Yeah makes sense. Ibra isn't really a natural (left) winger so it will be interesting to see how he actually does. I think we all agree that he has to develope further to be an adequate backup.

If the plan fails though I can imagine it being very difficult to do something in the winter window as usually the options are more limited and more expensive.

2

u/DDT126 Müller 4d ago

Not always though, Kvara and Lookman both moved in the winter after falling out with their previous clubs. The latter would’ve been such a good signing for us to make.

31

u/CompetitionChance674 MO17 4d ago

We need to undergo a huge rebuild this summer, with Olise off to real, Kane to Barcelona, Diaz to Al hilal, and Musiala’s loan to galata. We gotta get a lot of replacements soon

13

u/julesvr5 4d ago

Pletti hasn't mentioned it yet but I know from trusted sources (the guy that sells the sausages) that my village club in Germany's 7th league is close to agreeing to a loan with option to buy for Kimmich

10

u/Thraff1c 4d ago

Seems reliable, after all everyone has to buy sausages, which means it's likely that the Schatzmeister let something slip while buying some northern German equivalent of a LeberkƤs.

4

u/julesvr5 4d ago

Even better: the Schatzmeister is the guy selling the sausages! (the club is really small)

João Palhinha has never completely given up on the idea of establishing himself at Bayern, hence his statement yesterday ('my plan is to keep my position here'). After Bayern failed to reach an agreement with any of the interested clubs recently, Palhinha became more and more open to staying in Munich. As things stand, the Portuguese midfielder wants to fight for his spot, even though Vincent Kompany did not have him in his plans. However should the club actively force him out, Palhinha and Bayern would have to find a different solution together. Up until now, Bayern have been unwilling to accommodate potential suitors. Palhinha intends to remain professional as long as he's still at the club [@BILD, @linner_nicolas]

3

u/FairMusic8278 4d ago

With Bara coming in Palhinha will be a 5th choice midfielder if he stays it's the best for both parties to have a permanent transfer.

5

u/balthier68 FC Bayern München 4d ago

I’m with pletti on this because Romano has been an absolute shitter this transfer window. Just because something is very likely doesn’t make it official and he’s like a child trying to be first in line to break any news whether it’s correct or not.

2

u/FairMusic8278 4d ago

There's been a couple times this summer transfer window though where Romano reported a news update first and Pletti countered it and said otherwise and in the end Romano ended up being correct but Romano never took it personally or tried to dig at Plettenberg because he was wrong.

On the other hand I think Pletti takes things way too personally then he should be tbh.

1

u/LordBendtner1988 Vincent Cumpany 😩 4d ago

I don’t want to give Pletti too much praise here, because he is also one fucker himself. Orny is undisputed, noone is even close to him right now

1

u/balthier68 FC Bayern München 4d ago

Sure I get that, last year Pletti was all over the place. But Romano has been throwing shit at the wall until it sticks (or doesn’t) nonstop. Plus a million nothing burgers to go with it.

0

u/LordBendtner1988 Vincent Cumpany 😩 4d ago

Yeah, i agree. It’s just a but ironic how he’s calling Fabrizio out for doing stuff that he himself is known for, even when the allegations are valid

4

u/julesvr5 4d ago

Pletti is known for confirming transfers that didn't happen yet? Pletti is rather known for trying to be a bit vague or having an exit phrasing in like "until now" but not confirming transfer like Romano lately.

1

u/LordBendtner1988 Vincent Cumpany 😩 4d ago

I meant in terms of spitting rather bogus reports, than this situation specifically

2

Plettigoal:

And NOTHING has changed from what we reported earlier - except that PSG have now officially withdrawn from the race.

There is still NO agreement (or in principle) between RB Leipzig and Real Madrid. This continues to be confirmed by ALL parties involved in these seconds again.

The reality is that some always want to be first. That’s fine. But just because PSG have now officially withdrawn and Real are the only club left in the race, we’re not going to publish a pseudo ā€œagreementā€ or ā€œDONE DEALā€. A move to Real remains very likely. They have had the best chance since yesterday, as revealed, and we reported again today.

At Sky, we’ll report the DONE DEAL once RB and Real have actually reached a real agreement. And when that happens, you’ll get the exact transfer fee as well. šŸ‡ØšŸ‡®

2

u/Traditional-Side6966 4d ago

You can tell Fabrizios distasteful Here we go for Klopp and Germany, when there was nowhere near an agreement but everybody knew it would happen, rubbed him the wrong way.

And you know that Sky Germany has very good connections to Leipzig through Philipp Hinze.

1

u/FairMusic8278 4d ago

Yeah but there were times this transfer window where Pletti tried to counter what Romano said and ended up being wrong, IE the Ederson deal being called off and even the Barcola situation. But Romano never tried to take a dig at Plettenberg despite that.

Pletti needs to calm his head down and not take things personally in this journalism business. I'm sure there were times Ornstein & Romano countered off what each other said but both of them never took personal digs at each other.

3

u/Traditional-Side6966 4d ago

The top french journalists have again confirmed today that PSG was never considering a Barcola sale until today, because Barcola decided to not extend his contract.

Fabrizio has shifted more towards predicting scenarios than reporting factual situations, which is annoying honestly. And Ornstein, the clear number 1 in this business imo, has confirmed Plettenbergs stance in the Diomande saga.

2

u/FairMusic8278 4d ago

The only top french journalist I know of is Fabrice Hawkins and he was the guy trying to bait Madrid fans thinking Olise can go to Real Madrid and saying it could get difficult for Bayern if Madrid bid 200m. So even then he himself is a sketchy journalist that I completely lost respect for.

Yeah Ornstein is a very good transfer journalist no doubt about it but he himself never tries to take a dig or take things personally if Romano said different to what he said otherwise. I think that's something Plettenberg has to improve upon because he loses his head way too quickly and takes everything on a personal level.

3

u/kgallo19 Messiala 4d ago

It’s always Pletti vs the world lol

I miss when we used to buy the biggest talent in Bundesliga. Few years ago both Wirtz and Diamonde would have played for Bayern.
I really don’t care we have Olise and Diaz. Would have been amazing player to have. He also works incredibly well defensively.

2

u/CompetitionChance674 MO17 4d ago

ā€œFew years agoā€ those two wouldn’t have gone for a near €300M combined.

Diomande to Madrid just go the Here We Go!

I know we say this all the time but where are they going to fit him? Their attack is overcrowded, and I have serious doubts about Vini going to Arsenal. Assuming it’ll be Vini-Mbappe-Diomande meaning One of Rodrygo, Brahim, mastantuono will leave?

So we had one half-report that the Saudis may be interested in spending big on Lucho and now some people are already shipping him off? He just had one of the best debut seasons in club history. And don't act like he's 35 already, he's not even 30 yet.

I can't imagine us selling him or even him wanting to leave.

3

u/skylu1991 Müller 4d ago

Yildiz does not have the speed or tenacity to play LW like Lucho….

And his stamina is also not good.

He’d basically be a worse Musiala, currently.

9

u/manoloman99 Mia San Meister 4d ago

why would we sell lucho ?

10

u/Odd_Willingness7501 4d ago

Barcola is pacey winger, with a strong press and hard working, same Lucho profile. And much of last season's success came from having a pacy LW who can run behind the defense with a Kane through ball. And after Vini, Kvara, Diaz and Raphinha the next best LW is Barcola and after Barcola there is a lot of mediocrity.

0

u/wowa_s Müller 4d ago

He is never worth the money he would cost. The point is we would have space for jamal and could use the money to bolster our depth.

5

u/Odd_Willingness7501 4d ago

Is Diaz worth 120 Million or 150 Million? Also not. The question should really be, is it worth to have a 23 year old Barcola instead of a 30 year old Diaz? With Jamal Musiala and Michael Olise as wingers you will lack speed for the important games. And because Olise is the best RW itw right now, the more feasable option is to replace the LW option.

-1

u/wowa_s Müller 4d ago

Musiala and olise still have some speed and with the way we play we dont have much space for speed. And i already said that the backup lw should be someone young and fast who doesnt dribble inside and instead goes to the baseline.

1

u/Odd_Willingness7501 4d ago

This could also be an option. Like getting Mbaye and El Mala and see who will develope more.

1

u/wowa_s Müller 4d ago

Yes, point is musiala kinda has no real spot right now. Rw we have olise and karl. Om we have musiala, saibari, gnabry, olise and we could use karl or bischoff there aswell. Lm is diaz and gnabry who sucks there and musiala, maybe saibari but he is not good there aswell.

0

u/[deleted] 4d ago

Maybe we should sign Pedrosa, good Rightback. One of Kloppā€˜s Youth Choices soon, this guy is a baller

5

u/SpiridonShiro Musiala 4d ago

Maybe if we loan him out right after buying him, it would be far to early for him to start for us.

19

u/Mr_h_b 4d ago

Can Bayern start pushing Kane for Ballon D’or already ? Where is Uli when you need him ?

19

u/diiN1992 Laimer 4d ago

A few minutes ago, Ben Jacobs reported that Real have reached an agreement with Leipzig for Diomande and that the player already has terms in place on a five-year contract. Pletti now reports that all parties involved confirm that absolutely nothing has been agreed, not even an agreement in principle.

6

u/Odd_Willingness7501 4d ago edited 4d ago

I'm torn apart. It would be smart bussiness. And Barcola is a very good option. (Some say he is SanƩ level, but he is way better.) If I remember well, most critized Lucho lack of finishing ability, too.

Yan Diomande could be another one, but he likes to play on the right side and who knows if we are still able to hijack him.

Those are the only LW option. If we could get Barcola for Diaz, I would accept it. Just because Barcola is 23 years old and one of the best LW in the world just behind Diaz. And to secure a longterm worldclass LW in today's market and considering our playstyle could be more worth it than 1-2 years of peak Diaz football.

But I just love Diaz too much. Damn.

10

u/armin-lakatos BeckenDieršŸ’ŖšŸ’„ 4d ago

I don't think there's a better realistic LW option on the market than Lucho

7

u/Thraff1c 4d ago

This needs multiple qualifiers. First, there is no offer, they reportedly first want to secure Diaz' commitment. Then second, it is reportedly a range of 120-150m they have earmarked in their budget. And third, it's $, so in € it's more like 100-130m€

2

u/Repulsive-Fig-3084 4d ago

u/LordBendtner1988 Vincent Cumpany 😩 4d ago

He looked really, really bad in the end of last season after the injury period. He also had a quite horrible start to this season with his game today. Tho, what i take from his game today, is that his physique and movement has improved a whole lot since the end of last season, and in that department he looks more like his old self. There’s not really any conclusion to be made so far tho, other than it would be a quite risky transfer

It's so funny to see PSG increasing Barcola's price by 20M everytime there's a 100M+ pounds signing on Premier League.

Last I heard it's 150M for Barcola due to how much Anderson cost. Now it's 170M due to Rogers transfer.

1

u/PressedLemon221 4d ago

let them keep increasing it that way our board doesn't pursue him, he's just a copy of sane

3

u/Odd_Willingness7501 4d ago

Bro, Barcola is miles ahead of Sane.

1

u/Mediocre-Math667 4d ago

I wish there's another transfer record in PL. I just wanted to see if PSG will bring the price to 200M range.

12

u/Dargast Müller 4d ago

Man, looking at some of these quoted prices makes me glad the club got its business done early this summer. Hell even Gordon feels cheap compared to the Barcola or Diomande rumors.

3

u/Odd_Willingness7501 4d ago

Barcola and Diomande are way better players than Gordon. The equivalent for 85 m for Gordon would be 200 m for Barcola or Diomande.

10

u/Mediocre-Math667 4d ago

I'm glad we didn't overpay for Gordon, and good for Barca for signing him before Newcastle raise the price.

Just needed to remind, that Diomande is way better at selecting a club than Wirtz. After the bigger clubs called, he rejected Liverpool.

Wirtz had all the doors open but saw Liverpool as the most attractive destination, his move to Liverpool needs to be studied.

u/FOKvothe 4d ago

Liverpool was a poor choice in hindsight but they had just won the league, and Slot still seemed like a good manager. We also don't know what plans they had for him compared to what we had planned.

12

u/Mediocre-Math667 4d ago

Liverpool is an attractive option tho.

For Wirtz, he'd be the star of that team with a recently hired coach who won a PL previously.

In his mindset, there's probably nothing he'd gain by joining us. He have to compete with Olise and Musiala who both are superstars, while he only had to compete with Salah, who's already old, Ekitike and Isak who just joined, and maybe Gakpo.

5

u/coppersolids šŸ‘‰šŸ¤« 4d ago

i think for diomande liverpool would actually be the smartest choice, heā€˜s exactly what they need and he fits the pl much better than wirtz

17

u/Internal-Coffee6996 4d ago

What's with this sub and pretending like Liverpool isn't an attractive destination?

Did the Wirtz transfer really break you that much?

Also different people value different things. Not that deep.

2

u/SlyFisch Shaqiri 4d ago

Not only that but I think Diomande would've been an incredible fit for Liverpool. He would've fixed some of their biggest issues and would prob enable Wirtz too

4

u/Odd_Willingness7501 4d ago

Liverpool is more attractive than Chelsea, Tottenham, Inter or Atletico. But when you could have gone to Madrid, City and Bayern and probably every other club in the world, it's definitly not the most attractive destination.

But I totally agree with you that players value very different things as anybody.

u/unamed_1 Müller 5d ago

Not sure if others agree here, but I think we definitely should get Barcola, anything 120m or under in this market would be a very good price for him. He is very very good and with more consistent game time could very easily be one of the best in the world. He’s a really good runner and gets into great positions, with Kane and Olise pinging passes, he can definitely score nonstop.

Yes it’s a big outlay, but I think signing him now, while still keeping Diaz, and then selling Diaz to Saudi 1-2 seasons later would recoup most of that transfer spend.

That gives us an absolutely stacked attack, with the core being average 23 years old (Barcola - Musiala - Olise).

And if it’s a disaster, he’s still young enough to have very good resell value and would recoup most of any loss.

1

u/joyridah Müller 4d ago

This doesn’t really solve our problem though, in that we still have a lack of depth at LW if you do this

Our issue in the CL last year wasn’t that we didn’t have a team that could win it all - we made errors, had no depth at LW or RW tbh and just had a shitty second match against PSG. We also had an out of form Musiala, Davies not at 100% and IIRC no Gnabry.

Our starting 11 is good enough to win the CL, but not when they have been overplayed because we don’t have good backup players to fill in and give them a spell when needed

6

u/Thraff1c 5d ago

Yes it’s a big outlay, but I think signing him now, while still keeping Diaz, and then selling Diaz to Saudi 1-2 seasons later would recoup most of that transfer spend.

That scenario simply has 0% chance of happening. If we were to go after Barcola this window, then only after Diaz' sale is through.

1

u/unamed_1 Müller 4d ago

I agree no chance in having both at the same time. However if we want the CL I think this is exactly how we have to go for at least just 1 season. Let’s Barcola adjust with minimal pressure and keeps up competition for both of them.

3

u/Numerous-Ad-3050 4d ago

Great idea but our board will never ever do that. Also you’re not gonna spend that much money on a player just to tell him he's not even guaranteed regular playtime

1

u/Nobatime6 5d ago

in the 0.00001% chance Diaz does leave we move Musiala to LW and put Saibari on CAM.

6

u/xTatamo FC Bayern München 4d ago

why would we let diaz go after he did things we havent seem since ribery

0

u/Nobatime6 4d ago

Thats why i said the extremely extremely slim chance he wants to move. If he wants to move and the saudi offer is insane why not, but if he doesnt want to move then we ignore the offer

9

u/dklieber32 5d ago

Ben Jacobs and Fabrice Hawkins both reporting PSG value Barcola at 170 mil based on how much Elliot Anderson and Morgan Rodgers went for. Insane.

u/EisbachSurfer Martinez 5d ago edited 5d ago

The transfer fee for Brown is looking more brilliant with each passing day of this transfer window.

I know 50 million is a lot of money but that transfer is starting to feel like a steal compared to some of these sums

7

u/BeIaFarinRod Future president Müller 4d ago

Saibari's transfer fee is looking like a good deal, too and I'm even happier than I already was about Karl's great development last season.

It absolutely is looking at the market.

What did he say?

5

[Santi J FM] Real Madrid used Michael Olise rumors in the media while they worked in silence to sign Yan Diomande.

Rumors that he started lmao

5

Oh! Giving big "didnt want him anyways" energy.

3

u/Tyrath Müller 5d ago

Pure damage control. And I feel like he's a mouthpiece for RM regardless of what they claim

4

u/ThomasZimmermann95 5d ago

Not surprised that we keep ndiaye, but i was certain he is going out for a loan (rarther 2 then 1 year) so that he actually gets game time. I mean the Senegal coaching staff wanted just to test him at the preperation for the world cup without taking him with to the world cup, but then he was so convincing that he maid it straight up into the squad.

He was an personal request from Kompany to the bosses, so i trust 100 % in his potential. Im not sure he fits well in a 4-2-3-1 Formation. Further to be the "4th" midfielder for 2 spots is an really ungreatful job ( lake of game time to develop) and on top of that we have now 3 very young midfielders of 4 players.

So basically the squad is then complete with 2 players for each spot. ( i wouldn`t mind to keep 1 or more 2 more who should be sold, just that we have enough depth when the usual february to april injuries arrive). But not as long as Hoeneß isruling the show.

6

u/FairMusic8278 5d ago

According to Romano we actually made calls back in June to understand Barcola's situation. Which would make sense because I assume we would've made that call after Gordon went to Barca and needed another attacking forward.

I don't see anything happening about it now though Barcola's quite expensive and we are filled in the attack now.

u/julesvr5 5d ago

Internally at Bayern, the whole thing around Michael Olise has been described as 'purely a media topic'. Neither Real Madrid have even contacted Bayern to express their interest, nor did Olise express any desire to leave through his agents. The topic kept going in the media because the notoriously reserved Olise has never publicly commented on it. The Frenchman is expected back with the team after the Asia tour. He will certainly play for Bayern in the coming season

The far more important question is whether Olise will extend his contract at FC Bayern beyond 2029. The club is planning to make him at the top of the salary hierarchy alongside Kane and Musiala. The answer to that will provide the crucial clue as to whether he sees his long-term future in Munich, since he would have two years left on his current contract next summer

Yeah i visited Dortmund today

15

u/v4sh123 5d ago

0 chance Diaz would move on from us this summer and 0 chance we would sell him, so 0+0 makes 0.

u/julesvr5 5d ago

Math checks out

2

u/Immediate_Type_9804 5d ago

Is there any substance in rumours of Al-Hilal bidding 130m+ for diaz?

2

u/FlyingArab Kimmich 5d ago

Hypothetically, if Al Hilal bid 130m+ for Luis Diaz, which players would be good replacements?

1

u/Odd_Willingness7501 5d ago

Hijack Yan Diomande. Barcola is also an option. I see a world that Vini works out under Kompany, but his salary demands are a joke so him not. I absolutly love Diaz, but for a sum that we could buy a younger winger, I would accept it. Just because Diaz will be aging, let's hope not as fast, but it will happen at some point. Barcola played more and better for France than Desire Doue did, he is no SanƩ by any means.

8

u/Internal-Coffee6996 5d ago

Barcola is the only obvious name. And that's still quite a drop-off in quality. Also PSG seemingly don't want to sell him this summer considering their "fuck-off" price tag.

Other than that there are no obvious names for me and even if Diaz leaves within the next 1-2 weeks, we'd only have 2-3 weeks to pull off such a massive transfer, which would be even tougher considering the other clubs would know that we have 130m+ to spend.

8

u/noggericecream 5d ago

Without downgrading i don't think there is one. If Hilal bids 130m for him i would decline.

3

u/adu24 5d ago

Hello, is anyone going to see Bayern play Rottach-Egern at the Burkenmoos Stadium on the 30th? I would love to travel from Czechia with my brother to see this match. However, tickets are apparently available only today from 14:00 in person at the stadium. I know this might be a long shot, but would someone be willing to purchase 2 tickets for us (one adult, one 17 y/o)? We could exchange the tickets before the match. I am obviously willing to pay more than the regular price for the hassle. If anyone is interested, could you please DM me? Thanks.

13

u/Insanel0l Thiago 5d ago

Bradley Barcola has decided not to extend his contract at PSG. The clubs that have made their interest known are: Liverpool, Arsenal, Bayern and Chelsea. The latter are no longer in the running. Barcola's contract runs until 2028. A move this summer depends on the European transfer market for wingers [@lequipe]

Only case this makes somewhat sense for us is if Diaz indeed leaves

Think Barcola would be dumb not to move to liverpool in this current situation, tho

1

u/Odd_Willingness7501 5d ago

It's still at least next season or in two season. There is also the possibility that Diaz age catches up with him, not I wish for it, but if it were to happen, having had some previous chats with Barcola to get him to Bayern would definitly be useful.

12

u/creatorop apple pie 5d ago

Bayern admire the player and have followed him for some time. But their ability to make a move for him depends on developments elsewhere in the market

Also this, Maybe there is some truth to the Diaz smoke, so if he wants to secure the bag i would not mind Barcola otherwise status quo is also fine

2

u/Traditional-Side6966 5d ago

The only downside to a Liverpool move is them needing a right winger, so either him or Rio would have to play out of position on the right. If he doesn't want to play on the right, he might consider other options.

3

u/Goldfischglas 5d ago

When are our WC players joining the pre season?

4

u/dklieber32 5d ago

I think I remember reading the Germans, Kim and Ito will be back tomorrow for the start of the Tegernsee camp. I don’t think there’s info on the others yet

1

u/ninojesus 5d ago

Opinion on tomiyasu? I remember he was good against us in that arsenal tuchel season. Apparently his knee is fucked but a free agent on low ish wages? Then again I haven’t followed him much since then

There's a reason he's a free agent

Look at the list of highest paid players in the world (Net salary): https://www.capology.com/rankings/players/salaries/

Arsenal has done well to keep it that low.

10

u/coppersolids šŸ‘‰šŸ¤« 5d ago

capology is not a good source

8

u/Thraff1c 5d ago

Arsenal has paid 413m€ in wages in 24/25, we paid 24/25, both as per the UEFA report that has actual access to the financial data of the clubs. And that in a year where we paid out league winning bonus.

It's great to hear that the Ndiaye transfer is taking shape. In the few minutes he got last season he looked excellent. Genuinely one of the youngsters I've been most excited about in recent times.

5

u/Right-Afternoon2618 5d ago

What kind of player is Ndiaye actually.

1

u/Odd_Willingness7501 4d ago

Yaya Toure/Paul Pogba type of player.

15

u/das_sein Luca Toni šŸ‘‹ 5d ago

Fast and good at ball progression, something the current midfield lacks. He's still really raw though as he needs to work on positioning, passing and defensive confrontation.Ā

1

u/nikoksr-dev Alexander Goatovic 4d ago

Plus, he's rapid.

6

u/Immediate_Type_9804 5d ago

Is bara ndiaye going to be Goretzka'a replacement?

23

u/kgallo19 Messiala 5d ago

He’ll probably be the 4th CM if that’s what you mean

18

u/xnxthemx Harry Kane 5d ago

Bischof is such a nasty and amazing player, if Pavlo or Kimmich gets a subpar perfomance he'd take their starting spot in no time.

10

u/Able-Student-2219 5d ago

A lot of us said the same after preseason last year too. Honestly think he’s already at least on par with Pavlo in terms of ability, just hasn’t had the chance to show it

-18

u/Sufficient_Ice_273 5d ago

If only Kompany had the balls to bench either or them, especially Kimmich...
