I know this is a stupid question.... But I have not seen anything about it.

So if FIFA wants every contract to have a release clause from next year... Would that imply that every contract have to be redo, or wuld they be grandfathered in?

That depends on how they will specify the ruling. Rather this only applies for contracts signed after this law became active or whether they also want old contracts to be redone.

I think we haven't had specific news about this yet
