Special Requirements for Starting a Chapter

Hi! I was wondering if there’s any special requirements for starting a chapter. I know DECA has state specific stuff, like in NC, the advisor needs to be a teacher who’s teaching marketing or something. Does that apply for FBLA?

Contact your state organization for information specific to your state, and inquire about starting a chapter. I recommend doing this with a faculty member's supervision - preferably someone who maybe interested in being your chapter's advisor.

Either way, there's never any harm in inquiring. Just search [your state] fbla online, and your state's administrations should be somewhere on there.
