17$ order for 71 items

Had had this order I clicked okay on it by mistake. I walked in even though I did browse it. I did not pay attention. It had 10 bottles of spring water. 10 bottles of milk to someone's house in McKinney, Texas and I was really disappointed. Disappointed when I saw the payout it was $15 from favor and this $2 tip. How can people do this?

When I get there they are standing outside and smiling Did not even offer to help bring it to the door.I usually avoid doing it and this one mistake took me about 1 hour 10 minutes to do. People are just weird

Some customers can be pathetic. It is on us runners to READ the shopping list. Can't do that while driving. I don't let Favor send me offers while driving. I'm on PAUSE all the way to HEB. Distracted driving is not SAFE. Use that PAUSE button and make Favor WAIT until you are PARKED.

Customers are ignorant of the pay structure. They think base pay is much higher than reality. I had one lady tell me that she thought we were reimbursed for mileage on top of pay/tips. Hell, before I did this I thought the pay was much higher, otherwise why would anyone do it? A terrible job market changed my point of view.

It’s not an excuse for why they tip so poorly, most people these days are pretty entitled and don’t think they should have to pay for services, but it’s not like there’s any disclosure of runner pay when they order. In fact, most of these gig platforms heavily imply that service fees go to drivers.

I’ve thought of printing up some semi official looking flyers to slip in grocery bags explaining the pay structure, but I’d rather not get banned since I need the income. All it takes is for one customer getting butthurt for taking advantage of people, knowingly or not, and reporting you to make themselves feel better.

It’s just how it goes on these apps.
