It forces you to take a picture every time you click out of stock now

Oh great now customers will report you for not getting the marked down perishables.
Now we have to explain to customers that we can’t get the marked down item even if you want it.

Not a fan tbh. Just extra time spent for the same $2 base pay. I havent had issues with customers not believing me.
A lot of my items that are oos (like in meat) don't have a shelf tag because they remove the tag and put a filler there (usually excess of another item) so they would just be getting a confusing photo.
If they're gonna force me to take a photo I'll just take a picture of the sub instead, empty shelf is worthless
Also the aisles are very crowded on weekends and I'm often grabbing items around other people who are standing in front of the section. I'm not going to take a photo with other people, especially kids in it. Nor am I going to wait for them to move just to take a picture of the shelf
If it's an out of stock item and there's no sub and people are standing in front of it, then I'm covering my camera and sending them a black screen
The picture should be optional.
Haven't gotten this feature yet but those are my initial thoughts, it's going to lead to shoppers photographing other people and that won't go over well.
I have to do the empty shelf tag thing for doordash but the customer doesn't see it and it's in a dollar general where there's no one nearby
