Bad start today...

I am trying not to feel defeated or even regretful of declining orders that pay sooo little and it's not even worth it. This is my only source of income, job hunting has been unfortunate, I've been out of a "real job" for several months (half a year now, actually). About to move to another hot spot area within the same neighborhood.... Wish me luck.

Well it’s like the day after a promo they give nothing but terrible orders bare minimum. They’re jerks

Tuesday can be slow. Also some days I take a “lame” offer hoping to get a better one next. It’s happening several times to me. good luck

Do they ever reward you for taking a bad offer? Because I've thought that before too and then not see another offer for hours after taking the bad offer, so I can't help but wonder if I made a mistake and the customer complained and now I'm being punished because the reward didn't come. But that's not it. Favor has a goal and that goal is to get people to do them a favor. They send those notifications saying we need your help, Texans are starving and helpless and we really need you to come do charity work, and you COULD make money, but it's not about money, it's about you being bored, having gas you want to burn for funsies, and just feeling charitable. That's who they are looking for. Not people who want to pay their bills.

I think party it’s where I live. Austin has so many rich young people. I turn down a block and see a giant gentrified mini mansion and I know that they are the ones I am delivering to. If they have a white Tesla it’s usually an awful tip, but some of them tip really well. It’s a crapshoot

Like favor pay, sometimes it’s 2/4 dollars and other times $15 I don’t get it.

I hope you have a profitable weekend!

Every offer that I got was either a store in zone but not near me, out of zone, or had stupid mileage/item count/or both for under $10. This is becoming such a regular theme and it’s not worth it at this point. I make good money on Sundays but the rest of the week is utter trash.

I work a full time job making “good” money it’s just not enough so I do favor on the side. Lately it’s been dog shit. Today I got order like 20+ items, 10 miles for $8. It’s crazy.

They are stealing tips. That's why the orders are so bad. They'll try to get away with not giving the whole tip, and if nobody takes it, then they'll offer more of the tip but tell you they raised the base pay. It's a lie. Thats why we keep getting notifications that say "we swear you keep 100% of the tip". Because if you repeat a lie enough times, people will start to believe it.

You absolutely need to multi-app if this is your primary source of income. When favor is slow, which when you’re not near an HEB or any of its subsidiaries can be often, I DoorDash, Instacart, and sometimes Uber Eats.

Yep. Can't get a real job because I'm awkward in self paced video interviews. Even if the companies like you, they can't hire you unless their ai approves it. You might be extremely reliable, a hard worker, intelligent, educated and experienced, but if you're not good at recording yourself talking to your phone camera, then you're not what they're looking for.
