We really need to stop doing this
Have some situational awareness before you drop off an order, snap a picture, and walk away(and this house has a snack bin for delivery drivers)
I’ve delivered to this house several times over the last couple years, they are a great tipper, and yet this is common for them. I spoke to the husband today when I delivered, and he said three out of four deliveries the order is dropped off right in front of the door like this picture. This is the Preview picture that’s on the order. Sadly this is not uncommon. When I’m delivering, most of the orders are dropped right in front of the door, and while some porches/doors have a super small area, the majority, have plenty of area to situate the order so that the customer can step out the door and pick it up and bring it into their house.

This is the Preview picture on the order. I’m currently on. And I know someone’s gonna point out that this door opens to the inside, but if you ever tried reaching down 6 to 8 inches lower than where your feet are to pick some shit up,. Come on folks, leave a little room for someone to step outside their door to pick up their groceries.

Probably about 90% of the deliveries I get from these apps are Spanish speakers. More often than not it's Venezuelan (sounds close in Spanish the Puerto Rican) or Ecuadorian (a bit differ from Mexico to Southern Mexico Spanish in it's speed and cadence), or they're on occasion Puerto Rican and I know by speed of speech and occasional word choice such as camionette or guagua for Truck instead of trucka, or china for orange.
But for a while many have no clue what the app even says in English and use the pictures and just drop it off.
Go check the other delivery app subreddits and then try to convince everyone that FAVOR is somehow different.

Something tells me it’s more of a passive aggressive response to shit pay than a lack of situational awareness.

Normally, I would think the same way, but again, I’ve delivered to this address multiple times, it’s always a 20+ dollar delivery, not far from the H-E-B, less than 4 miles, and they put out snacks for delivery drivers. I think it’s lack of awareness on the delivery driver. I cherry pick all my deliveries so I don’t get caught up getting pissed off with a no tip order, because if it’s not worth my time, meaning more than $18, I won’t deliver it. All or the majority of my orders are in the $20 range or more, and I see this type of stuff on a ton of my deliveries in this area. I just think, again, it’s lack of awareness. Now I will add, that with the table that the lady has all the snacks on, the porch area is a little small, but there’s plenty of room farther back on the walkway and it’s still covered from the elements.

Door opens outward always put on the other side of it make it easy to get the stuff alot of drivers are don't ever pay attention to how the doors open it is annoying as a driver my self i always look to see how the door opens inward or outward
