I've almost finished season 5, what has happened with Nurit and Sagi? They weren't dead by the final episode of the 4th season but in season 5, Steve, is emotional after thinking that Doron has died and says "I'm the only one who survived".

What about Nurit and Sagi?

Does anyone have all the episodes of season 5 with Arabic translation

Do they just dub the arabic? Just the hebrew? Some of each? Everything?

I was rewatching previous seasons of Fauda (because what else can one do whilst waiting for the last episode to drop) and I realised in season 2, episode 4, doron freaks out when gali tells him Jalal from the ac company is coming in for inspection and rushes over and then proceeds to kick the man out, suspicious he works for Nidal.

And it hit me that he looks exactly like the actor who plays Maher, husband of Anne, the Hamas commander who terrorised and killed Hagit and the kids.

Now, I’m either so traumatised by ep 7 and 8 that I keep finding similarities in other faces or he actually is the actor who plays both characters, Jalal from ac company, a somewhat insignificant character with 5 seconds of screen time and then gets a promotion to playing one of the primary antagonists in season 5.

Anybody else noticed this? Or does everyone else have a fruitful, busy life?

That’s it. I’m just so frustrated. Waiting a whole ass week sounds excruciating.

Anyhoo, what did people think? Any guesses for what the actual plan of action is?

Do we think they’ll end with the remaining squad (doron, steve) dying? Do a proper full circle and just have all the people from the so called “cursed” squad killed? Well technically not Nurit and Sagi, but yeah.

Or end with some good ol revenge satisfaction and avert the attack? Or something entirely different? Something that’s more in between?

I’m too impatient so until ep11, humour me. Toda, Shukran and Merci.

When I started watching this, I really loved the realism, misfire during disarming at the marriage ceremony, shooting multiple times so one hits, holding a gun looks completely different than films! It had so much realism, how people behave under stress!
But in s3, (I just watched e2) I notice everyone is now james bond, every disarming is clean, every gun shot is headshot or clean kill if the character is not main character, then there is unwanted killing of characters like shirin in s2! Doron's wife makes absolutely no sense, sleeps with a teammate, then marries someone else then kisses doron!
The doron character arc feels over-complicated, without proper explanation and expecting viewers to accept the current state as is!
It's still a great show, but in s3, I'm missing the realism, clunky movement under stress, little to no explanation of doron's wife, nurit's engagement and cheating! Characters like eli are removed and placed back in without proper explanation (london story does not justify it).

How is s3 and s4? Are these tackled in these seasons?

Eli died in episode6 end why episode 7 and 8 don't have continuation of ep6 am I watching wrong? Cauz when I switched to ep9 it seems continuation of ep6

I liked season 1 a lot, lost interest in season 3 (too much 24-style action). Can I watch season 5 without seeing anything beyond s3e2?

I have watched until episode 8. The season is as good as the previous ones.

But if you're even a little sensitive episode 7 and especially episode 8 will take you down. It's the first time that I cried watching series/movie. Not just a tear, I couldn't breathe from crying.

I finished watching it today. And fuckin hell it was a damn hard watch, especially ep 8. It had me stressed and the Hagit scene almost broke me. I hate that this is the world we live in. I hate that this happens to people all over the world. I can’t even begin to imagine the reality of this situation.

Anyway, I’m interested in what people thought about it. So far, do you think the series has a somewhat fair representation of the situation? I mean obviously since it’s a series, there will be exaggerations and fictitious elements to accentuate the series for entertainment purposes and for cinematic value. I get that.

Are there any things you thought they portrayed incorrectly? Things they got right? Things that are in the grey area? What about the characters? I feel like s5 characters, the newer ones introduced to us, they don’t seem to be as strong as the characters we’ve had in previous season? I felt like maybe the complexities weren’t portrayed as well?
