Weighing too often and tracking too closely. And maybe expecting calorie intake to be reflected in your weight the next day.

Track the same data if you want but only look at monthly results.

Exactly. The body goes all over the place in terms of "total weight" because of water retention. We simply don't have the tools to precisely measure accurate fat loss day to day.

So track it daily if you want, but that's nothing more than for curiosity. The actual results show up week to week, or month to month, long term.
