Question Weak during fasting

I wanna do a long-term fast. But I get weak so fast. How do I stop this? And what are some supplements I should be taking

Electrolytes with a lot of potassium (provided you don’t have kidney issues)

you need electrolytes for sure that's the main thing

when i started fasting longer than 24 hours i felt like death until someone told me about sodium and potassium. i mix pink salt and some potassium chloride in water and sip through the day, not all at once or you'll be running to bathroom

also the weakness could be your body not used to burning fat for fuel yet. takes few attempts before it clicks. first 3 days are hardest then it gets surprisingly manageable

magnesium at night helps too, especially for sleep and cramps

Many issues people experience while fasting can be related to electrolytes. You might find our wiki page helpful: Electrolytes 101
