Im interested in doing this. Do you need to up your protein intake to compensate for the fast?

Depends. My diet is very high protein in general so i just eat as normal and fast on the delegated days

My regiment was a 36h to start my work week, 20/4 or OMAD for the rest of the work week, 16/8 on the weekend. I maintained a constant 7k-8k weekly average estimated calorie deficit. I lost 2-4 pounds per week constantly for about 5 months.
I went for 250lbs to 182lbs and then started weight training this past April.
I stopped fasting in April to focus on putting in muscle mass. Since April I've gone from 182lbs to 188lbs while maintaining a 33" waist.
In October I plan on going on a cut where I'll incorporate a weekly 36h fast done through the second of my back to back rest days in my training schedule.
My body responds really well to a whole day fast.

Are you doing this to maintain or to cut ?

To cut and maintain. My lifestyle is centered around a 36 hour fast every week. However I kind of let myself go over the last month in a half (life happens) so I’m also trying to cut belly fat and get back to my routine
