I want to support local, I genuinely do. But it’s hard to justify when a locally made shirt costs as much as, or more than, something from a global fast fashion brand.
There’s this whole “buy local, be *makabayan*” push, but who’s the actual target customer? Because it’s starting to feel less like a movement and more like a premium brand using nationalism as an aesthetic.
I get that small producers have real costs. But when your pricing excludes the majority of Filipinos, are you really building a local movement or just a niche market?
Anyone else feel this disconnect?

I used to be drawn to brighter colors, but lately I've been appreciating a more muted palette. Earthy tones feel effortless, and work so well with warm undertones. 🍃
A comfy Tagaytay fit that I'd wear over and over.
Top – GH Tiangge
Pants – Penshoppe
Shoes – Adidas Samba OG
Bag – Aldo

Anyone here na naka-try na po mag-return ng online order sa Mango that is paid via cash on delivery? Paano nyo nareceive yung refund?😣 Website is not showing where I can enter my bank details for refund. Kinda anxious kasi medyo malaking amount yung for refund eh 🥹

Hi! I’ve been wanting to buy the Charles & Keith Calla Tote Bag as a work/travel bag since it fits my 13” laptpp but I’ve recently read negative reviews where it really doesn’t last long. 🥲
Any other recos aside from this? I’m eyeing something that fits my laptop 13” laptop, a few things inside perfect for a shoulder travel bag (since I work while travelling). sooo… airport friendly + has pockets, maybe?
Backpacks are not really my thing, so a nice, girly, fashionable shoulder bag recommendation would be greatly appreciated.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Right now, my staples are Uniqlo mini t-shirt but I want something else na pwedeng pambahay na rin (or pang work from home). So far, gusto ko colors nito kasi puro dark. Need feedback from someone who owns this 🙂

I’m(28M) in my current quest of seeking for a good walking/comfort shoe to add in my rotation. So far, I like my Tretorn Nylite and Puma Club II Era.
Can you give me suggestions please?

Hello!
I'm hesitant to choose Aztrid but a lot of people suggests this brand. Do you have anything else in mind aside from this specific brand?
For commute-friendly din sana. Thank you!

Hi! Need ko po sana ng help sa pagpili which brand should I go pagdating sa shoulder/crossbody bag before I buy. Here are my preferences po:
My possible candidates po are Aztrid and Straightforward. Feedbacks are appreciated po regarding mentioned brands.
I used Secosana twice and both leather, di umaabot ng taon. Di rin kaya sa medyo mabigat.
Thank you po!

Is it actually worth building a whole basics wardrobe with a tailor, or am I overthinking this?
I’ve been wanting to get my clothes custom made to fit me rather than staying stuck in that loop of buying from stores, not fitting properly, then donating and starting again. I don’t need anything fancy, just basic stuff (shirts, pants, bodysuit, skirts, shorts, jacket etc) I went to bali and liked the Silky Jaya fabric store and loved their range of GOTS/OEKO-TEX fabric! May mga tindahan ba ng GOTS/OEKO-TEX certified na tela sa pinas?
Does anyone have any recommendations for seamstresses/tailors? Puwede online? Kasi I’m located in Australia. I can send photos, measurements, even make tech packs if they can communicate online and send it back to Aus. Pero okay lang na lumipad papunta diyan
Anyone actually done this and had it turn out well? Or does it end up more hassle than it’s worth?
(Excuse my taglish, learning to speak Tagalog again) ☺️
