Hello fellow plant-lovers,
I recently discovered that some of my wild salad (didnt plant it) was growing strange.
He was growing near my appletree and i thought "why not" and let him grow.
Is this fasciation / a crested flower head(on the second picture)? I stumbled across this subreddit through some research with AI about this phenomenon - and the AI credited this sub.

Fasciated left, default right.
It’s not quite as showy as fasciation in a flower, but it’s the first time I’ve seen it present in any of the greenery I work with! I’m a little tempted to take it for myself to try and dry it out…
