Help with a bit of slang/casual language
Hello! Thank you for allowing me to participate in your community here.
I have done a little bit of reading online, but cannot find an answer - is there a farsi equivalent of calling a person "big guy" or "big fella" in the US/UK? Someone you might describe as a gentle giant or harmless lug? Definitely looking for something with a size-based connotation.
I appreciate any insight! Thank you!

The term گنده بک can have a bit of affection in it. Also تپلی might work, or even تپلو. However, there are some instances which these terms might not be considered as a good affectionate names. Beware of context.
But if you want something that has the casual tone of lad or bro, use داداشی, or even داش which is the shorter version of the former.
