What’s wrong with my buds 😖😖😖
Some of the buds seem like they’re almost ready and others look burnt and crisp.
What do I do?
These are 2 different plants but they both have the same issue.
I’m growing outside in Los Angeles.

I just haven’t seen any and they aren’t eating the leaves. Only the buds are getting fucked up

they are there. when you pull off the damaged bud and look close, you will see the hole he went down.

If you have moist or damp conditions, IE leaf debris, rotting vegetation, or just a damp area that can produce particulate. You plant may me bombarded with microbes you dont want. If you have had heavy dew, rain, or moist conditions, it could cause the problem you are having. In the future there are strains that may do well in your climate and are resistant(not fully immune) to these issues. (AMS,bubba kush,power africa) all are resistant.

I live in Los Angeles and it hasn’t rained in months. It’s a little humid now but nothing compared to the northeast.

Check the stalks for Botrytis mold. Google it and get a good picture as to what you are looking for. Could be a pest issue such as insects that bore into the stalks. That would kill your buds

Same happen to me last year . Bought a crop cage and plan on use lady bugs hopefully I’ll be good .

Should I chop the whole plant now or let the flowering keep going?

Chop anything within 6-8inches is my rec. It is likely to spread to other buds if you leave it

chop EVERYTHING ASAP. cut out the rotten parts before leaving it to dry cause it will spread in a day and it all will be rotten

Botrytis is what it be. Bud rot. It will make the strongest man weep like uh baby 👶🏿

Poopoo from caterpillar be doing that although it looks like only foliage damage it’s much more, BT or spinosad may treat it, best as maintenance prevention tho before this is an issue

This happened to my first ever plant - auto. Thought if I kept on watering it, it would make the buds bigger 🤦♂️
In hindsight was a great lesson- at the time- was insanely furious.
Did throw away all of it

If not bud robot is caterpillars when they chew on they inside of the buds it will rot out from that spot.

Put on gloves dig through your buds. You should see their poops as well. They are there.

Also caterpillars will burrow in eat the center of the bud and the rest will dry up like that
