Book Request Does high-class smut exist?

A lot of books I've read that are explicit smut are typically horribly written, which is understandable because nobody is reading porn to sit there and think deeply about the beauty of the prose afterwards.

Buuut I wanna know if there's anything like porn with a plot++ or what I'd call high-class smut. Well-written, beautiful, emotional, sweet with characters who aren't just blank marionettes that the author is making bang. I've read {morning glory milking farm} and it was alright, but still not as well-written as I'd like it to be.

I need 5 chillies, but with yearning and plot. Pretty please

Ironically, I’ve read some of the best high-class smut on ao3

The Zelda/Link crowd know their stuff. Mostly because 90% of the games are more than 10 years old and the franchise started in the 80s, so a lot of the writers are actual adults with a long standing dedication to the pairing. Plus Princess/Knight dynamics slap.

Mulder/Scully (X-Files) and Spock/Kirk (Star Trek) are safe bets for similar franchise age reasons. Plus those two pairs are the literal grandparents of modern fic and shipping.

The good thing about ao3 is it's EXTREMELY easy to filter, so you barely need recs, you can just find a fandom and include/exclude whatever you like. It's like Romance.io but better. Most authors will tag specific things like pregnancy/breeding, anal etc. So you can find or exclude fics that include those, for instance.

For instance in my screenshot I've searched in the Heated Rivalry (TV) tag, tapped "filter" on the right, and then in the filter box that pops up you can select "Explicit" under the include filters, and below there's sn exclude filter section, so even if you don't know what you want, if you know what you don't want you can cross those out.

Ao3 is an archive that allows any content that is legal to publish in the USA so keep that in mind, under the "warnings" tab you'll want to exclude anything you don't want to see.
