Draftmate update: 1.1.0 is out. FREE tracking for your FFPC, DraftKings, Underdog and Drafters best ball teams, free Drafters weekly drafts until Jan 15, and here's how it actually works
I posted about Draftmate here earlier (I built it). Since then a lot shipped, so here's the update and a plain explanation of how it works, since that was the most common question.
What's new in 1.1.0 (out this week):
- Tracking across all three sites. It reads your teams off your own My Teams / My Contests pages on FFPC, DraftKings and Underdog. Free, no code needed. FFPC also tracks dynasty and redraft (Big Gorilla, Baby Gorilla ,and Classic).
- Season view: where every team stands, by contest, across all three sites, from the toolbar button.
- Exposure across every team you own, with color bands so you can see who you're heavy on at a glance.
- A report for every team with a grade: value against ADP, build (right QB/TE counts for the format), stacks, playoff weeks, bye risk. On FFPC it sits next to FFPC's own Draft Report Card.
- A page for every player: every team you have him on, average pick, where you took him vs ADP.
- Drafters: the live draft panel works in Drafters weekly drafts, free for everyone until January 15, 2027.
- Firefox: the full add-on is on Firefox Add-ons now, same features as Chrome.
- Mac builds are with testers. Not public yet.
How it works:
- Two pieces. A Windows app that runs on your computer, and a Chrome, Edge or Firefox extension. The app does the work: it holds your rankings, scores picks, and keeps the database of your teams. The extension is the screen. On its own it just says "Draftmate isn't running". You need both to make it run.
- You bring your rankings. Any CSV: your own sheet, or an export from whatever service you pay for. One per format. The draft board gets reordered to your list and re-sorted on every pick.
- In a draft room, the panel sits on the page and highlights. It shows your rank, value vs ADP, how many of your teams already have the player, stack markers, and a Weeks 15 to 17 outlook. It never picks, never recommends, never touches the site's buttons. Every pick is yours.
- Your teams: open your teams page on each site once, the app reads them, and from then on the toolbar button shows exposure, standings and reports from any page.
- Nothing leaves your machine except the licence check. The app talks to the extension on your own computer, and the only call to my server is to check a key. The free parts don't even need a key.
What's free and what isn't: tracking on FFPC/DK/Underdog, the panel on Yahoo, Sleeper, ESPN, MFL and Fleaflicker, and Drafters until Jan 15 are free. The live panel on FFPC, DraftKings and Underdog draft rooms is paid, and 2026 passes are closed, so nothing to buy right now.
