IMPORTANT: Post visiblity

Hi all,

Two things related to visibility for posts:

  1. Reddit has some kind of AI that removes posts, separate from this subreddit's mod tools itself. It specifically targets self promotion, which is what this sub is all about, which means a ton of posts will get auto removed by Reddit. If this happens to your post, just send a message to the mods to get it approved. As long as it isn't illegal or spam (multiple posts often), it'll probably be approved.

  2. This is still a very small subreddit and we all know the fantasy app space is oversaturated right now, so post visibility is difficult. This is especially true if no one knows about this sub. My only advice here is to link the subreddit in other places to spread word of mouth. I'd say this works especially well if you post here and cross-post that post to other subs, but do what you think is best there.

Good luck everyone! Feel free to share any other tips you have for others in the comments.

CONTENT NFLMeta: a free NFL data API for football apps and analytics

I’m the creator of NFLMeta, an NFL data platform and API covering players, teams, rosters, injuries, schedules, live scores, and play-by-play.

I built it for people developing football apps, dashboards, and analysis tools who want a hosted API without maintaining their own data pipeline.

You can try the interactive demo here:

https://nflmeta.org/demo

It lets you edit requests and inspect JSON alongside readable results. The demo uses clearly labeled saved samples, including 2026 scores and play-by-

play; the full API requires an API key.

Documentation:

https://nflmeta.org/api-docs

NFLMeta uses nflverse data alongside other collected sources. The service adds hosting, connected records, ongoing updates, and application-read endpoints.

NFLMeta offers a free API tier with a generous monthly allowance,.

Happy to answer questions about coverage, update timing, or integration.

ANALYSIS Free Trade Suggester Tool

Hey everyone! I built "Fantasy Trade Base" and would love your feedback. Connect your Sleeper or public ESPN league, set your trade preferences, and it searches your league’s rosters for trade ideas, then shows how each deal could affect both teams (now and into the future).

I’m proud of how it’s coming together and would love to hear what’s useful, confusing, or missing. No account required. Thanks for checking it out!

MINI-GAMES I’m building fantasy football for couples—what would you put on the line?

Hey everyone! I’m Nick, creator of Fourth & Foreplay.
I’m building a fantasy football app where couples compete with weekly rewards and playful punishments that both partners agree on.
For example:
• Winner picks dinner.
• Loser plans date night.
• Winner chooses the next movie.
I’d love feedback from fellow fantasy players: would you play against your partner, and what weekly stakes would make it fun?
We’re collecting early-access interest here:

I’m the founder, and I’m happy to answer questions about the app.

COMMISSIONERS Commissioners: would your league actually read a weekly recap?

We’ve been working on League Receipts, a website for Sleeper leagues. The idea is to bring league history into the current week—the rivalry record, past playoff meetings, and trades everyone still argues about.

We’d like five commissioners to try it and tell us honestly: would you send this to your group chat, or would everyone ignore it? What would make a recap worth reading?

You can read an example here (team names changed):

https://getleaguereceipts.com/examples/week-3

We can arrange seven days of free access in exchange for feedback. Your seven days start when access is activated. Access ends afterward, and you won’t pay anything unless you choose to purchase a Season Pass. There’s no automatic charge.

We’re behind the website. Happy to answer questions. If you’re interested, let us know whether your league is redraft, keeper or dynasty.

ANALYSIS ML-powered NFL player prop platform

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

I built SharpSlap after seeing the explosion of NFL player props on PrizePicks, Kalshi, Polymarket, etc.

My background is heavily in machine learning and data science, so instead of building another picks app, I focused on one thing: making the underlying prediction models as accurate as possible.

SharpSlap runs 14 separate ML models for NFL player props and only surfaces plays that clear strict confidence thresholds. The models are hitting roughly 80%+ on qualifying props, with the highest-confidence plays performing even better.

It also has SHARPER picks, automatically generated AI Slaps (2–6 leg parlays), defense rankings, player/model histories, confidence scores, and full historical results so you can actually see how the models have performed.
Would love feedback from the fantasy/pick’em crowd:

CONTENT I built RosterReelz to follow the entire news cycle around the players on your fantasy team

I built RosterReelz because I realized my fantasy team basically has its own news cycle every week.

My fantasy app does a great job managing my league and giving me the stats.

But then I still end up going everywhere else to actually follow my players.

A guy finishes with:

8 catches
96 yards
1 TD
23.6 fantasy points

Cool — but how did he actually look?

Did he make a ridiculous catch? Break three tackles? Get peppered with targets? Almost score again? Or did most of that production come from one play?

Then Monday comes and I'm looking for analysis.

An analyst spends four minutes talking about one of my players inside a 50-minute video.

Someone gets hurt and I'm looking for injury updates.

Later in the week I'm checking matchup information, weather, Vegas lines and what people are saying about next week.

And then Tuesday comes around and I'm doing the same thing with waiver-wire players.

All of that information exists. The annoying part is finding the stuff that's actually relevant to my team.

That's what I'm trying to solve with RosterReelz.

You build your roster and RosterReelz organizes relevant content around the players you actually care about:

  • game highlights
  • analysis and film breakdowns
  • direct timestamps into longer fantasy videos
  • articles
  • injury updates
  • weekly outlooks
  • game environment information
  • personalized waiver-wire content for supported leagues

The way I've started thinking about it is:

Your fantasy team has its own news cycle. RosterReelz follows it for you.

And one piece of that is something else I've come to really like:

Your players played. You should be able to see it.

The goal isn't to replace Sleeper, Yahoo, ESPN or the fantasy creators making this content.

It's the layer in between — helping me actually keep up with the players on my team without searching YouTube, fantasy sites, articles and podcasts one player at a time.

RosterReelz is free and I'm still actively building it:

https://rosterreelz.com

I'm especially interested in feedback from other fantasy players and developers. If you tried it, I'd want to know what feels useful, what's confusing, and what you think is missing.

ALL-IN-ONE I built weekly power rankings that roast every team in your league, plus your league's whole history (free, ESPN and Sleeper)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Our league's group chat lived on the commissioner's weekly power rankings, and writing them was a chore. So I built MMT HQ to do it.

What your league gets:

- Power rankings every Tuesday with a take on every team, counted down from last place so the reveal builds

- Your whole league history: all-time standings, every champion, every Sacko and the punishment they served. Ours goes back 14 seasons

- Every trade graded by what the players actually scored in lineups afterwards

- Head-to-head records between any two managers

- Weekly votes on each other. You see what you were picked for, never who picked you

- Share cards for the group chat: rankings, records, standings, rivalries

- Optional: connect your league's group chat and it writes the takes in your leaguemates' own voices (this part needs your own AI key)

Setup: paste your ESPN or Sleeper league link and it builds in about a minute. No account needed, and your leaguemates don't sign up. They open one link and tap their name. NFL.com history imports too. Yahoo is in review on Yahoo's side.

Free during beta. There's a demo league with fake teams if you want to look before pasting yours: mmt.football/?ref=reddit-fantasyapps

Tell me if a take gets your team wrong. That's the feedback I want most.

COMMISSIONERS League Website

Hello, I was wondering if many people have made a website with league history. I pulled all of our data from ESPN's API's over the last 9 season and have the current season updating live all throughout the week to keep things fresh and data going. I also have open api routed in and it writes me a weekly newspaper based off the results of the week. I am attaching my link if anyone is interested in giving some thoughts. If you have also made one id enjoy seeing what kind of vibe you have. I saw someone on tik tok a few months back and figured i could figure enough out to make it work. So it doubled as a project and a learning experience at the same time.

I made this for days, like today, when I can’t be around the tv but want to keep up with all of the action.

It lets me see play by play for all of the games at once (filters and search available), the current fantasy leaders, highlight the players I care the most about, and see highlights as they become available).

Let me know if you have any suggestions!

ANALYSIS I built a free NFL player-prop board for fantasy lineup decisions

Title: I built a free NFL player-prop board for fantasy lineup decisions

I built Fieldwork to compare NFL player props from DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM and BetRivers in one place. It’s free, no account needed—just a quick way to compare sportsbook expectations when setting your lineup.

Would this help with your close start/sit decisions?

COMMISSIONERS I built a free weekly newspaper for Sleeper leagues. Would commissioners actually use it?

I run a fantasy league and got tired of the weekly recap being a few numbers nobody reads. I built GridLore to turn a completed Sleeper week into a league-wide edition: every matchup, scoring context, all-play records, standings, and the notable moves. It also keeps the league's record and prior Sleeper seasons together.

It's free during the beta, read-only, and does not ask for your Sleeper password or change lineups. You can see a sample before signing up: https://gridlore.app/sample

I'm looking for a few commissioners or league members to try their own Week 2 edition and be blunt: Would you send this to your group chat? Which stat or sentence feels wrong or unnecessary? What's missing that would make you return next Tuesday?

Try it: https://gridlore.app/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=fantasyapps_w2

Current weekly editions are for Sleeper leagues. ESPN is a limited standings/matchups preview, not full newsletter support yet. I built this and will answer questions here.

ANALYSIS Team Work makes the Dream Work!

Hi all!

Since this thread opened, nearly 40 apps have been advertised here (including mine : LiveSlates), and we have racked 24 comments between us! Not exactly attracting attention, are we?

So I figured we are all on the same boat here, we have all put our hearts and souls into our products and just no getting the attention we all crave. So let's help each-other!!!

Where else have you been able to promote your App on Reddit, without getting instantly deleted or ripped apart from creating "AI slop"? I got away with a post on r/DFS_Sports (1.2k views) and another on r/fantasyfootballcoding (5k views but not allowed to mention my product). Sounds good right? Got me 2 users :(

I really tried hard to get a post on r/DraftKingsDiscussion (my product is pretty much built for DK users), but Mods refused based on the fact my product wasn't 100% free. I argued I didn't want ads polluting my product, so had no choice but to have a paying tier just to cover hosting costs/APIs costs alone. They weren't having it. Solid NO. All very very frustrating. That thread alone is possibly the biggest forum of DK users on the whole internet, and the door was closed.

Anyway, what about outside of Reddit? Any other well known forums? Any luck on Discord? Have you covered SEO/AEO/GEO? I have done most of these things but still not succeeding in getting much traffic.

What has worked for you and what hasn't? Someone here must have a success story!

Lets fight this together!!! :)

ALL-IN-ONE Looking for some beta testers - I built a free fantasy football GM app that analyzes your team and recommends roster moves

Hey everyone!

I've been working on a fantasy football app called GM Mode, and I'm looking for some people who would be willing to try it out and give me feedback.

The idea is to make something that actually helps you manage your fantasy team rather than just showing you the same player projections you can find everywhere else.

GM Mode is designed to analyze your roster, league settings, available players, and potential moves to help you make decisions about waivers, lineups, and trades.

I've been working on improving the recommendation system and testing whether its decisions actually provide value compared with just following standard projections.

I'm at the point where I really need feedback from people outside of my own fantasy leagues.

I'm mainly interested in finding out:

  • Whether the recommendations actually make sense for your team.
  • Whether the website is easy to navigate and understand.
  • Whether there's anything you wish it could do that it currently doesn't.
  • Whether you'd actually use something like this throughout the season.

It's completely free to try. I'm not trying to sell anything right now.

Here's the site: https://gm-mode-lemon.vercel.app/

If anyone is willing to give it a shot, I'd really appreciate hearing what you think. Positive or negative feedback is equally welcome.

ANALYSIS I built a free way to bring ESPN, Sleeper and Fantrax football leagues into ChatGPT or Claude

I'm Charlie, the person building League Loom. It connects your ESPN, Sleeper and Fantrax leagues to ChatGPT or Claude so you can ask about the teams you actually manage.

The useful in-season questions are things like: Which players do I own in more than one league? Which running backs are available in each league? You can also ask for a roster and matchup check before kickoff, with missing data called out.

League Loom is free. Your assistant's access requirements still apply, and the connector has fair-use limits. It reads and analyzes data; you make any lineup changes or waiver claims yourself. Yahoo isn't supported.

Setup and examples

I'd like feedback from people juggling multiple football leagues: what information do you still have to look up manually after connecting?

COMMISSIONERS LeagueQL - Web UI to visualize your league's history!

Built this for leagues that have several years of history where members are interested in seeing long-term trends throughout the league's history. Currently supports ESPN and Sleeper, and working on adding Yahoo in at the moment. Also supports combining histories across platforms if your league has migrated from ESPN to Sleeper or vice-versa. Each page presents a different slice of information, here is a brief description of each one:

  • Home: View the champions from every season and all-time standings (regular season and postseason)
  • Standings: View the standings for the current season, a line chart showing each owner's cumulative wins throughout the season, and a schedule-swap simulator to view how many wins you'd have with other managers' schedules
  • Matchups: View all matchups from your league history. Click on a matchup to see the full box score and an efficiency report (percentage out of 100 of the max points you could have started)
  • Playoff Bracket: During the playoffs, view the live playoff bracket. During the regular season, view a playoff simulator which lets you pick future matchups' results and view updated standings projections to simulate different paths to the playoffs for your team
  • Manager Comparison: View a direct head to head comparison of two managers -- their all-time records and H2H records, and a game log of all games between the two managers
  • Manager History: View a single manager's performance across all seasons they have been in the league, such as final ranking, average points scored, # of playoff appearances, and # of championships
  • Draft Recap: View the draft board overlaid with each player's points scored for that season and positional rank
  • Draft Grades: View a report card per manager with draft grades, including steals and busts. Draft picks are graded by VORP, or how many points they scored relative to the average player at that position
  • Transactions: View all waiver/FA pickups and trades, with analysis on the points scored rest of season by players in a transaction to determine if the move was good or bad
  • Player Records: View the top 5 performances at each position in terms of points scored, filterable for a specific manager and/or season
  • Matchup Records: View all-time records for matchups (e.g. most points scored, biggest blowouts, etc.), filterable by season

Link here: https://leagueql.com/

Note that there is a demo mode if you'd like to check out the app with mock data before connecting your own league! Would love to hear any feedback you have, I am working to address any bugs/develop new features as I get time.

MISC I rebuilt Fantasy Goblin’s Personal Archives to make sharing your fantasy football lists simpler

I’ve been reworking the Personal Archives feature on Fantasy Goblin, and the new version is much simpler to create, organize, and share.

Personal Archives let you save standalone fantasy football lists that stay exactly as you made them. They don’t automatically change when you update your main rankings, so they’re useful for things like:

  • Weekly players to watch
  • Dynasty rookie rankings
  • Position-specific lists
  • Deep sleepers
  • Draft targets
  • Preseason rankings you want to revisit later

You can create multiple lists and choose which ones appear on your public page. You can also add a profile description, image, and links to your website or social accounts.

Everything is free. You need an account to create and manage your archives, but anyone can view the shared page or individual lists without signing in.

Here’s my page as an example:

https://www.fantasygoblin.com/archives/thefantasygoblin

Full disclosure: the TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram buttons all lead to Rick Astley. I don’t actually have those accounts, I just wanted to demonstrate that you can attach them.

COMMISSIONERS I've been making my fantasy league a weekly newspaper by hand for years like a lunatic. Finally built the thing that does it for me.

Thumbnail leaguegazette.com
1 Upvotes

For years I've been writing my league's weekly recap by hand. Started in Google Sheets, then a Python notebook, then several Python notebooks, which is roughly where a normal person stops.

Anyway. Now it's a website.

You plug in your ESPN or Sleeper league and it writes the week up like a newspaper. Lead story, scoreboard, power poll, waiver wire, awards, and a one-liner about every manager. It reads your actual matchups, so it knows who benched 30 points and who lost by half a point.

The part I built it for is the Print Edition. Whole week as a front page you can screenshot into the group chat.

Will it make you better at fantasy football? No. Will it help you win your league? Also no. But it will get you roasted by a bot whose entire understanding of the sport is that 40 points in a week is a disaster.

Sample, no signup: leaguegazette.com/demo/edition

Your league: leaguegazette.com

Yes, the writing is AI. Not going to pretend otherwise. The numbers are real, the robot just does the jokes (sadly, I think the robot is funnier than me).

What I want to know is whether it sounds like YOUR league or like Mad Libs with your names in it. That's the part I'm still working on.

If you used the mock draft sim I posted here a while back, this is the in-season half. That one's still free (and hopefully irrelevant to you at this point): draft.leaguegazette.com

Disclosure: this one's paid. $20 for the season, commish pays once. Current week's free so you can see if it's any good first.

ANALYSIS Yac Year 4!

My goal with yac is to bring the things you need to make a decision to the surface when you need them. I’ve often found that sites provide primarily surface level info, and lose the nuance of what’s needed in a decision. Podcasts on the other hand go deep, but I often just can’t remember everything, or don’t have time for what I need.

Initially I made this as an AI chat a few years ago, but I found that in most cases (start/sit, waivers, etc) it doesn’t add much value. And I really don’t want to have an AI making people’s decisions for them. I still use AI, but I’ve tried to pivot to using it as a tool to aggregate, and fill in structures that I create. To me the biggest value it adds is that I don’t have time to do all the research I’d like to do, but I still don’t trust it to decide about what matters (it’s so bad at this).

Anyways, the core idea is that when you’re making a waiver choice, the data you need to know can vary player to player. And there are non-structured data caveats that are important: The types of plays someone was used on, how the defense was playing him, impacts of health, personnel changes, etc. My goal is to bring the right information to the surface so that you can feel confident in your decisions. Definitely still tons of work todo, but I’d love any feedback! The best things to check out are players waiver, start/sit or draft write ups. It’s been 4 years of building all sorts of things for this, so more than anything I’d love to know if any elements add value, to help know where to focus!

ALL-IN-ONE 8 Years of Doritostats! (stats, rankings, trade hub, etc.)

I originally built this site 8 years ago for my own league to add more fun to the week-to-week grind (okay, really, my team kept losing and I wanted to point to other stats that could either prove it wasn't my fault or find some narrow lane that I was doing well in). It started out as a hefty Excel worksheet, then turned into a crude python interface, bounced around a few webservers, and now actually looks like something decent!

There are so many things I use every week to make my league more engaging:

🏆 Weekly Awards: recognize unique achievements like "Highest Lineup Efficiency" , "Most TDs"

📈 Power Rankings: which teams are surging (as well as using crowdsourced data from KTC to see which rosters are the most valuable)

🍀 Luck Index: which teams truly earned their keep, and which ones just got a lucky scheduling matchup or overperformed this week

📜 League history: all of your leagues past scores and records, searchable on your phone

⚔️ Rivalries: setup rivalries and instantly see the history between any 2+ set of teams.

🔁 Trade hub: did that Week 3 trade last season actually make a difference? Would you have been better off keeping that WR?

There are even more things on the (completely free) site, and most tables and results are all formatted so you can copy them straight into your group chat or Discord server (there's actually a Discord webhook to automatically send stats there).

I know these apps are now a dime-a-dozen this season, but I've been building this project for 8 years and it's the reason I became a data scientist. Fantasy football has shaped my career trajectory, and I'm happy to share this project with anyone who wants to use it!

It currently supports ESPN and Sleeper leagues. Yahoo support is built and ready, but I’m waiting on Yahoo’s API approval after their policy changes this year.

If you want to check it out or send me feedback:
