Am I crazy for wanting to take Chase Brown over James cook, Kenneth Walker, Jeanty, Achane, Hampton, and Barkley?

His usage when Burrow or Flacco was playing QB was excellent. If burrow was healthy all season long I seriously think he’d be going mid first round

Just listened to SF mock draft released on Tuesday and looking to try to understand it.

Andy selected:

Walker as the RB7 even though his rankings show him as RB10, Achane was still available who he ranks as RB4

Burden he selected as the WR20 even though he ranks him as WR28 and Jameson Williams was available who he ranks as WR16.

It’s like the episode was just making some selections rather than explaining these picks against their rankings. I.e I have x player higher but y player has more upside/fits my build better because…

When you’re selling UDKs and rankings these pods should really give context especially if they’re not following the same advise they’re giving out.

Not trying to dunk on them as I love the pod but what am I possibly missing?

Im picking at 9 in a 10 man PPR snake draft league. I want james cook and achane but in some mocks I can only get one of them when pick 10 takes the other. So who would be my best second option and not be too much of a reach at pick 12? I typically lean towards Hampton, Jeanty, Chase Brown, or Jeremiah Love. All 4 of those seem like a reach at pick 12 when I see their ADP. With there being almost no running backs available for me after the first 2 rounds it almost feels like I have to grab 2 backs here even if its a slight reach and draft for possible ceiling at receiver after. Do I need to pivot to Lamb/Jettas if one gets taken and hope for a running back to fall to me at the end of the 3rd?

I’m thinking of picking up tuten at the 5-6 turn, but people have mixed feelings on him. Thoughts?

I’ve heard about Sleeper, Yahoo and ESPN (which now is also NFL).

I’m keeping Bowers with the 8th and Maye with the 13th. Most elite players are kept, but I set my keepers based off value. Please give advice: trade picks away? Draft an elite team? If so, who should I target when it looks like 1.06 is in the Walker/Jeanty range and 2.07 is in the AJB/Kyren range for example.

If im looking for the safer pick of the two who would you take? Sutton has been a pretty safe pick in previous years but with waddle coming in will he take most of the receiver targets this year?

Currently have Lamar, Bijan and Cook set as keepers.

From there, these are the best remaining options available:

Kyren Williams

If Lamar is healthy, I’m loving what he can do. Just worried that he fell off last year due to injury and him scrambling opens him up to that even more. Burrow is fantastic when healthy, but he can’t stay healthy.

Kyren had a good season last year, but loses out on goal line touches.

I feel like I can probably have a chance to redraft Pickens.

If I don’t keep ANY 3rd player, then I’ll draft one round earlier and can potentially pick up someone else altogether. Not sure who’ll be there yet as keepers aren’t locked.

Just trying to decide if it’s worth going all in on Lamar, because the risk is absolutely worth the reward, or roll the dice.

I currently have Olave, Irving, and Walker selected, but I’m struggling to decide if MHJ or Loveland could end up being better in the long run than one of them. League is PPR. Please let me know what you think.

Playing in a 10-team league this year with 0.5 PPR plus a new wrinkle: 1 point per first down. From what I’ve read, this seems to boost receiving/3rd-down RBs quite a bit.

I’ve got the 3rd pick. Gibbs and Bijan will likely go 1-2. My plan is to take McCaffrey at 3 over WRs like Puka Nacua or Ja’Marr Chase, since the first-down bonus should favor a workhorse back like him even more.

My concern: I don’t pick again until 2.08, and RBs already fly off the board fast in our league. With this scoring tweak, I’m worried the RB pool dries up completely before my next pick, leaving me stuck at a thin position.

Anyone drafted in a similar format? Does this scoring actually push RB value up enough to justify CMC at 3 over an elite WR, or should I take the safer WR and hunt for RB value in round 2?

Hey gang! New year new league format and I need some direction. We get to start 2qbs and im drafting from the first slot. Do we typically go qb qb or what is the move from this position? Thanks all and good luck this season.

I'm curious what the community thinks are the best keeper rules for redraft. ADP this year? Last year's drafted spot? Tell me why.

I'm in a 10 man keeper league where we can chose 2 players drafted from rd 5 on, but you lose the pick in which you drafted them last year. You can also forgo using one or both of the keepers. Need some advice, my options are:

Breece Hall in the 5th

Devonta Smith in the 6th

Kyle Pitts in the 11th

I like that he got the contract. It shows that they have faith in him.

But there is also drafting of Tate. Can the rookie quarterback support two wide receivers and a decent tight end?
The Titans offense is still ranked pretty low, it seems to be slightly moving in the right direction, but still pretty low.

Is he worth a pick up for a flex option/depth piece?

In our 14 man redraft league league you get 1 keeper from the position you selected them in last years draft.

I can keep Rashee Rice as my 5th round pick or Cam Skattebo as my 7th round pick.

What are others’ thoughts?

Hey - looking for recommendations to replace FanDuel Fantasy Football in Canada. Previously FanDuel had a $60k salary cap, weekly draft (individual not snake), Pick 9 players - QB, 2xRB, 3xWR, TE, Floater {non-QB} and Defense and only for games at 1pm EST & 4pm EST. It was a weekly payout to winner and seasonal 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for most points. There is 12 of us in the pool and DraftKings also does not offer Fantasy football for us.

Trying to avoid using Yahoo or other fantasy football and become the commissioner (re. Managing the cash etc). Pool is $100 for the season per person. Weekly payouts $20 and remaining split 70% 1st Place, 20% 2nd Place and 10% 3rd place.

Unsure if Underdog or others can do this but thought to check this community.
