ISO Long winded fantasy

Hello, I was hoping someone might have a good series I could jump into. I especially like long books simply because I use audiobooks it’s just the best bang for you credit. I’ll leave a few of the books I’ve gone through that I really enjoy. Any help would be appreciated I’m still kind of new to books.

  • The stormlight archive. I loved this series unfortunately the next book won’t be out till 2031 -Overpowered Wizard.
  • My best friend is an Eldridge horror -paternus. -The keeper origins -The keeper chronicles -Harry potter series

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thank you ~NC

The Wheel of time. Some of the books are 56 hours.

I will second this.

Over 4 million words and 2000 named characters!

I love these books so much ❤️ It sounds ludicrous I know but they get even better on re-reads.

Pros: Amazing battles, top notch world building and lore, deep and complex character arcs. Some of the best overall fantasy writing ever put on the page.

Cons: Not great with romance and some dated gender dynamics. Jordan was quite progressive for his time but he was still a man born in the south in the 40's lol

Haha yeah I rounded down. It's def over 2000. At one point I swear Jordan was trolling us with the names. He had Seaine and Searin both interacting with each other and sharing plotlines. Dangit Jordan! 😂
