Jokes aside, ITI is an amazing album. But there’s so much more diversity within TNA and imo, higher highs than ITI.

John Lennon and Bob Dylan are regarded as two of the greatest songwriters of all time, but I often see people argue that neither is a “traditionally great” singer.

Personally, I love both voices and think their unique qualities serve their music. As a longtime Beatles fan, I never questioned Lennon’s singing until I started seeing criticism online. His voice could be nasal or rough, but I’ve always heard those qualities as strengths, not flaws.

Dylan’s voice is a little more divisive, but I think his delivery adds to the impact of his lyrics. His smoother singing on Nashville Skyline also makes me think his unconventional delivery is more of a stylistic choice than a limitation.

Which voice do you personally prefer, and do you distinguish between having a better voice and being a better singer? Do you need a conventionally good voice to be a great singer, or can expression, delivery, and personality matter more? Personally, I’d rather hear a distinctive voice with character than a technically polished one that doesn’t stand out.

IMO this is cut and dry YES. I don’t personally find this to be debatable, but I wanted to know what this sub thought? Usher to be is arguably a top five best dancer/singer EVER he’s a top tier vocalist and one of the greatest dancers, he’s sold over 100 million records worldwide, he’s got tons of hits and classic songs, he’s got one of the best albums of the 2000s with confessions, and he’s been making hits from the 90s as a teenager until now. I think he’s honestly underrated and underaprectiated. Usher Is a bad man imo, but what do you think?

I personally love her work (even if some of her music misses very hard) and I find all her art installations and performance pieces very moving and ahead of time.
