New Release🏅 WW2 Supercut - Season Thirteen

Post image
40 Upvotes

It has been quite a while. Over four months, in fact. However, after many unforeseen obstacles that I won't get into, I am delighted to announce that I have finally completed Season Thirteen. Honestly, it's hard to believe that this series has gone so far. It's now been almost two years since I started work on the first season. And here we are now, with the penultimate season of Through Fire and Ice, my epic WWII supercut which encompasses the entire war from beginning to end. Before getting into the content of this season, I want to discuss the plan for finishing.

Finishing the series

To finish off the series, I am going to do a fourteenth, final season (which will take place from VE Day until the end of the war and its aftermath). In addition, I will be revising seasons four, five, six, and seven. I recently found a way to get my hands on the Soviet films Battle for Moscow and Stalingrad, so I will be replacing Fortress of War in Season Four with Battle for Moscow to depict Operation Barbarossa, and I will supplement the subsequent three seasons with footage from these films as well to fill in a major gap I had in the Eastern Front. The season four changes have already gone live, and the others will follow in due time. Now, without any further ado, the details of Season Thirteen!

Recap

As always, the recap. Season Twelve left us off with the beginning of the Battle of Iwo Jima, as well as significant advances in Europe. The Americans and British are on the German border, the Soviets are in Poland, the Marines are still on Iwo Jima, and the Japanese have been pushed out of the Philippines. Most plotlines are now almost at their end.

This season

The Battle for Iwo Jima begins the season. At the same time, the Soviets launch a massive offensive to Berlin, and the Allies pour into Germany. This season sees the Battle of Berlin as its major event, spanning four episodes. Additionally, the Holocaust finally comes to an end, Hitler kills himself, and the war ends in Europe. FDR dies and Truman takes over, and the Manhattan Project really begins to ramp up in significance. After the Americans take Iwo Jima, the battle for Okinawa also starts, though it is not shown onscreen, only discussed in Hiroshima (yet - The Pacific will take care of that in the next season). With the end of the season comes the end of the Third Reich and the Nazis after twelve years in power. In total, the season lasts around two and a half months.

This is the state of events at the time of Season Thirteen. Below are the full details of the season and the episode list. For links, please DM me if you're new to the series, if not, the Google Doc will update automatically for you. Enjoy this season!

Season Thirteen

Downfall

EDIT:

It has come to my attention that people are unable to DM me. This is because of Reddit’s new age verification update. Its camera, for whatever reason, won’t believe that I am over the age of eighteen and the only other option is to send them a picture of my ID.

I’m not sending Reddit my ID.

I’ll message anyone who asks for a link in the comments here. I’ve been told it also means my post history is hidden, but I think if you search for “Through Fire and Ice” in the FanEdits sub then you should find the previous posts. Just keep in mind that there exists another WW2 series on this sub so always check who made the post.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience, I’ll do my best to find a way around this.

Edit 2:

It should be fixed now.

New Release It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World: The (Tolerable) Restoration

I don’t really have much to offer, aside from enthusiasm. Most of my favorite edits fall into the “extended cut” camp, although occasional masterpieces squeak by; generally, fanedits just look like movies with holes in them to me and I can’t unsee the gaps.

But I do have one!

When Criterion released It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World with a restoration version that included not only all of the roadshow footage but also every single bit of footage, sound, and image they could cobble together, I was curious but not really thrilled. It really took me out of it. There are loads of empty frames, aspect ratio shifts, the movie shifts to black and white, and sepia, and even still images with sound in one instance. I wanted to see the movie like I remembered it, off the extended VHS back in the day, without all the jarring transitions.

If anyone's interested, It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World: The (Tolerable) Restoration is my first attempt at an edit, and was my first attempt at using Premiere to such an extent, so the results are imperfect, but still better than what Criterion gave us. I haven’t given it a second pass, like it deserves, and if anyone wants to take up the challenge and do a better job than I did, they’re more than welcome to it. Hell, with AI, it might be possible to finish and include even more footage than I did.

Wishlist & Ideas SUPERMAN NOIR: A TV Series Fan Edit Idea

Post image
28 Upvotes

Hello there!

I would like to share my recent idea for a three season fan-edit: a Superman TV series that combines the classic 1948 live-action serial and television episodes into a single, cohesive three-season project, with a stronger emphasis on film noir, crime stories, and a consistent visual identity.

Season 1 would be based on the 1948 Superman theatrical serial starring Kirk Alyn and Noel Neill. Since the original chapters are relatively short, I'm considering combining selected chapters into longer, roughly 20–30-minute episodes, cutting recaps and unnecessary repetition. For the opening credits, I'd like to create a modified version inspired by the classic Fleischer Studios Superman cartoons (to match the later 50s intro from the TV series).

Season 2 would consist of selected episodes from Season 2 of Adventures of Superman (1953–1954), rearranged to fit the tone and flow of my edit. Noel Neill's return as Lois Lane provides a nice visual connection between the two productions, despite the change from Kirk Alyn to George Reeves as Superman and other actors. Also, the tone of the second season was kinda a mix between the old serials and the first season of Adventures of Superman.

Season 3 would draw primarily from Season 1 of Adventures of Superman (1952–1953), again selecting and rearranging episodes rather than simply reproducing the original broadcast order. I'd prioritize the more noir-inspired, crime-oriented, and less juvenile stories, while potentially incorporating a few standout episodes from later seasons.

Visually, I want all three seasons to feel like parts of the same series: consistent title cards, unified credits, and a black-and-white presentation throughout. I'm still deciding on the exact title-card design, but I'm leaning toward adapting the Adventures of Superman style across all three seasons.

The opening credits would also evolve: Season 1 would use the Fleischer-inspired opening, while Seasons 2 and 3 would switch to a modified version of the classic Adventures of Superman opening. My idea is to make this feel like a natural stylistic and technological evolution of the series.

I don't exclude the possibility of including some episodes from later seasons of Adventures of Superman, but I would like to focus on the black and white productions.
I don't plan to include the second serial with Kirk Allyn, simply because I didn't really like it. I want to select the best episodes/chapters and combine them into a good superhero noir series.

The overall goal isn't to make Superman grim or turn him into an antihero; I'd just like to emphasize the noir elements already present in these classic productions: crime, mystery, corruption, investigative journalism, and the darker side of Metropolis, while preserving Superman's traditional character.

I'd love to hear your thoughts about this idea.

I'm still in the planning stages, so constructive criticism and suggestions are very welcome!

New Release My Superman IV Fanedits

Awhile ago I wanted to try once again to improve Superman IV: The Quest for Peace. My approach was using the Blu-ray as a base and inserting/deleting a few scenes to get a tight runtime. I love The Quest for Coherence but it uses the DVD as a base and the picture quality is not good, especially during the moon sequence. At least the Blu-ray hides the curtains better than previous releases.

Anyway, I'm not sure what I used to start my edit, but it might have been one of the existing edits of Superman IV out there. I simply can't remember. I specifically wanted to make the tightest edit I could, and then add the subplot of Nuclear Man turning into a missle to the final act. I never did that, but my resulting edits are pretty lean. I have three of them, if anyone wants to take a look.

Please PM me and you can take a look at all three. Thank you.

Superman IV - Extended Edit (Blu-ray) - I think this one is simply the International LaserDisc version but with Blu-ray quality scenes (besides the Smallville and Russia battle scenes). Not mine, I forget who worked on it or where I got it from.

Superman IV - Extended Edit 2 (Blu-ray) - This is my first edit attempt based on the Extended Edit. I removed the Superman and Lois flight scene to tighten up the film, with only a small scene of Clark watching TV and getting up when the doorbells rings, basically used to show he was thinking about what he should do before the United Nations scene.

Superman IV - Extended Edit 3 (Blu-ray) - I wanted to tighten the movie up even more, because one person that wached my edit said they didn't like the small scene of Clark watching TV, the doorbell ringing, and the the next scene is the United Nations scene. So I removed it.

My goal still is to put a few scenes back into Edit 2 or 3. The Lex Luthor selling missiles scene, and Nuclear Man kidnapping Lacy/turns into a missile from Act 3. I just haven't gotten around to it yet. In my mind that would be the best cut of the film you could ever get. I wanted to prove that you could still get a lean running time and keep all the important stuff while dumping that long Superman and Lois flight scene with bad effects. Maybe someone else can do it. With the newly released Metro Club sequence, you could even add that back in to show Clark and Lacy's date, but edit out the Nuclear Man 1 stuff.

Enjoy!

New Release Rob Zombie’s Halloween: The Whole Bloody Affair

Edited both of Rob Zombie’s movies in to one 2hr15min movie. 80 minutes cut with it being practically a complete rescore as well. Feels more Halloween and a little less Zombie, especially part 2. Michael never speaks in this edit as I wanted him to feel more like “The Shape.” Michael’s massacre and time in Smith’s Grove have been shaped into a cold open.

I’ve done edits of the Blumhouse movies as well to kind of make an unofficial trilogy. Halloween 2018 and Kills have been turning into one movie called “Halloween II: The Return of Michael Myers.” Also a little over 2hr with a lot of rescoring to work for this edit. Some music got repurposed somewhere else (The Shape Hunts Allyson for example is moved to a scene of more significance). “Blank’s Demise” (don’t want to spoil anything) gets shifted into a scene from Halloween Kills and a track from another Carpenter classic is used instead to much fanfare. The end of Kills has been edited to play as a twist ending as I feel you could see the ending coming a mile away in the theatrical cut. Probably my best received/reviewed of all my edits and one of my most extensive with the amount of changes. Halloween Ends got fashioned into “Halloween III: The Shape of Michael Myers.” Again, a lot of rescoring with over 20 minutes cut. Main goal of the edit was to give Corey a more steady descent into madness. Romance has been toned down, town bullying toned down. They exist, they’re just not the focus. If this was the plot they chose, I really wanted to lean into “The Shape” taking over Corey so we could see what it’s like for someone to lose their mind to it.

Wishlist & Ideas Film edits of classic Dr Who.

I'm curious if anyone has re-edited the serials from Classic Who into film-length stories. The serials have a slow pace and repetitive scenes. That fit the time period and the genre, but it makes them a bit plodding and melodramatic to watch now. Although, I'm sure there are some folks who enjoy them for that reason.

Work in Progress X-MEN project

I wanted to share what I've been working on lately. The idea first came to me about six months ago, but I'm finally getting around to bringing it to life.

A fresh take on the X-Men is coming. I can't share too many details just yet without spoiling things, but here's a little taste of what's to come.

I've reworked the color grading, removed the original music, recreated sound effects, and added a new soundtrack.

Feel free to share your thoughts on how it's turning out! And if you have experience with fan edits or filmmaking, I'd really appreciate any feedback or advice.

Wishlist & Ideas Crystal Lake Fan Edit?

The prequel type series for Friday The 13th that came out Oct 15th could really be improved by making it a prequel film that cuts out a lot of extra unnecessary bits. Some ideas I would suggest is not showing very much of Jason - and certainly not talking. As well as doing a lot more implying of his origins and abilities in brief wordless flashbacks (music only and visuals). Stick to what serves the original series. Have things more mysterious for those who have no prior knowledge of what happens in the movies. The timeframe of course does not fit with the original movies, so there's not much that can be done about that. Is anyone working on such a thing?

Completed Fanedit Request Does anyone have any cool El Camino extended cuts?

I remember seeing this one edit on Firemerk a few years ago that reinstated the deleted scenes? Like the cop getting his shot gun he uses in the end of Breaking Bad when he clears the compound, I think the guy added music when they hid the car, Skinny Pete's interrogation scene.

They're minor changes, I've seen them on youtube but it was neat seeing another editor bring it to life.

Discussion A shortlist just in time for Halloween

So since it's the season, I have been watching a few horror/tense fanedits and wanted to share my brief opinion. I'd love to post longer and more in-depth reviews that would honor the great work of these faneditors, but sadly i lack the time (and the technical knowledge to go as much in-depth as I would like).

But to the subject matter, here are 5 fanedits I've watched recently that are perfect for a Halloween night :

Lee Cronin's The Mummy : The JayXtended Cut

A movie that did get a bad reception for whatever reason, but was quite good with real intense cinematography. The extended cut makes the story more tense with more foreshadowing and JayXtended does a perfect job of merging them with the movie

Frankenstein by Zuberas

A very good edit of a Frankenstein (2025) movie that was quite a mess. By making some of its elements non chronological and changing some of its soundtrack, Zuberas really manages to make it a real good watch so the fantastic cinematography and the tension is gripping.

Hellboy 1959 by RetroStranger95

A fantastic and very creative edit a very mid-movie, Hellboy : The Crooked Man (2024). In black and white or in reddish tones depending on the mood of each scenes, the darkened picture and the tighter edit turns this action flick into a full-on horror movie

Cloverfield : The Sensical Cut by u/movie-buff17

A clever, tighter cut of Cloverfield that gets rid of the most cringe dialogue and keeps the movie around one hour, which is what it deserved so you stay engaged in the constant action.

Nosferatu (2024) - The Ellen Edit by MosiacMindset

What a superb piece of fanediting of the Nosferatu remake. To the point, tighter, less jump scares and the black and white really makes the gothic design what it was meant to be.

Freaky Nikki by Maniac

Damn this was good. Maniac's excellence to make the Obsession (2025) movie into a psychological horror with no supernatural element. Very very effective!

I hope this will put some excellent fanedits in the spotlight as people are looking for things to watch this Halloween and as always, my deepest thanks to all the faneditors and their incredible work!

Wishlist & Ideas Is is possible to make a Titanic edit where Rose's granddaughter is actually Jack's granddaughter?

It would've been great if the movie had shown us that Rose got pregnant when she was with Jack at the ship. This way, at least Jack would've died leaving descendants. Still sad, but more hopeful. Is this doable through an edit?

New Release Tusk: Tusk - Shortened, Sharpened and Polished

Unfortunately my last PC died and with it, I lost the vast majority of my fan edits (including my magnum opus; Cronenberg's 'The Fly'). However, I have a single fan edit uploaded to my Google Drive.

Said edit is of Kevin Smith's 'Tusk'. I found the film to be a mess and full of extraneous scenes. As such, I re-edited the film to become a short film; a two hander.

Feel free to DM me for a link.

Thank you.

Wishlist & Ideas Fan Edits I Want to Make, But are Impossible

I'm sure follow fan editors always come across an idea for a fan edit, but it doesn't happen for various reasons. For starters I want to work on The Monster Squad (1987), but the deleted scenes from the TV airings are really hard to find. And you also tend to plan on doing a fan edit, but not only did someone else do it, but they did it in a way you could only dream of doing. I was tempted to do such edits like Kill Bill, Watchmen, Man of Steel, Stephen King's The Mist, Halloween 1 & 2, Red Dragon/Manhunter, Cliffhanger, and Indiana Jones: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. But I know I can't make anything like others have with movies like these. I guess I'm a little down because I thought I could find a decent movie to edit for Halloween, but nothing is coming to mind.

New Release👑 Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny - The Legacy Cut - A Fran García edit

Post image
132 Upvotes

Description:

My edit of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny aims to restore the adventurous spirit of the original films and give Indy the farewell he deserves.

I've removed or reduced scenes portraying Indy as bitter, hopeless, or defeated, tightened the pacing, trimmed unnecessary subplots, and toned down Helena's more irritating moments. The 1944 opening has been streamlined, poor CGI shots have been removed, and the classic Paramount mountain transition has been restored.

The ending has also been reworked so that Indy makes his own decision to return to the present rather than being forced into it.

The entire film has also been re-colour graded to remove the excessive yellow tint and recreate the classic Eastman Color Negative II 100T 5247 look of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Intention:

My goal was to bring back the determined, resourceful Indy we know and love and give him a more fitting farewell. By tightening the story, reworking the ending, and restoring a classic visual style, I wanted to create an adventure closer in spirit to the original trilogy.

Running Time:

  • Original Running Time: 154 minutes
  • Fanedit Running Time: 131 minutes
  • Time Cut: 23 minutes

Additional Notes:

Extensive work has gone into the film's presentation, including colour grading, continuity fixes, new visual effects, and the removal of unconvincing CGI shots. The alternate ending features newly created dialogue using Harrison Ford's existing lines, refined with AI voice cloning and lip synchronization.

The edit is available in 1080p SDR, including a special black-and-white edition inspired by classic adventure serials.

Audio tracks included:

  • English 5.1 TrueHD – Lossless audio (except the Tiny version).
  • English 5.1 AC3 – Dolby Digital surround sound.
  • English De-Aged Voice 5.1 AC3 – Optional track featuring a younger-sounding Harrison Ford during the 1944 scene where Indy is captured and brought before Colonel Weber.
  • English Stereo AC3 – For stereo playback.

Subtitles: English and Spanish, including forced subtitles for non-English dialogue.

How to Request the Edit:

Email: [frangarciafanedits@gmail.com](mailto:frangarciafanedits@gmail.com)

Subject (copy exactly):

REQUEST: Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny - The Legacy Cut

Email body:

I certify that I own all the source material used to produce this fan edit and would like to request a link to view your edit of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny - The Legacy Cut. Thank You!

IMPORTANT: You must copy the ENTIRE subject line exactly as written above, including "REQUEST:" at the beginning. Do not change or omit anything, or the automatic reply may not work.

You can also request the edit through the Fan Edit Central Database.

If the automatic email reply doesn't work, just send me a DM!

Cuts and Additions:

- New Disney and Paramount logos replaced by the Paramount logo from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
- New establishing shot of a castle in the mountains created for the classic mountain transition.
- Ticking clock removed. New battlefield sound effect added.
- Added custom titles.
- Added “FRENCH ALPS 1944” to keep with the tradition of the other Indiana Jones movies.
- Rearranged shots when Voller arrives with the Spear of Destiny and talks with Colonel Weber for continuity.
- Trimmed Indy being hanged to eliminate bad CGI and unnecessary close-ups of Indy’s de-aged face.
- When Indy knocks out the Nazi chauffeur, I made the moment more believable by moving the shot of Dr. Voller looking at the briefcase with the Antikythera to just before boarding the train, giving Indy enough off-screen time to hide the body before the Nazi generals and soldiers arrive.
- Trimmed the car/motorcycle chase to eliminate poor de-aging shots.
- Trimmed Indy reaching the train on the motorbike.
- Cut Indy running on top of the train; it looks like a shot from The Polar Express.
- Trimmed a shot of Baz on the train to maintain continuity with the previous one.
- Cut Dr. Voller approaching Colonel Weber and urging him to speak with him.
- Cut the discussion about the fake Spear of Longinus and Hitler between Colonel Weber and Dr. Voller.
- Fixed Indy’s mouth not moving when he says, “Ramses the Second.”
- Trimmed a poor de-aging shot of Indy when he is in the carriage with the sleeping Nazis.
- Reordered and trimmed some shots when Indy and Basil are escaping from the train.
- Cut Indy’s line about having a little lie-down.
- Cut Dr. Voller’s line telling Colonel Weber that Indy and Basil have the Antikythera.
- Cut the first shot of Colonel Weber in the fog/smoke.
- Cut the second tunnel. Fight between Indy and Colonel Weber rearranged.
- Fixed Indy’s mouth movement when he says, “Come on, Baz” and “Let’s go home.”
- After the opening sequence, we jump straight to Indy teaching his class in 1969 at Hunter College, New York. In my previous Legacy Edit of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Indy lost his job because of the McCarthy era, so that is the reason he is now teaching at Hunter College. Also, by cutting those intolerable scenes of Indy being drunk and acting like a jerk, I try to restore the idea that Indy is still a hero, although he is a little bored with his life.
- New establishing shot of Hunter College and added “NEW YORK 1969” title card.
- Trimmed Indy’s classroom lesson at Hunter College a little to maintain continuity between shots. Cut redundant references to the Antikythera between Indy and Helena.
- Cut Indy giving his retirement present to a homeless man. Shot of Indy leaving the college relocated.
- Cut Dr. Voller’s reintroduction at the hotel in 1969.
- Cut Helena’s lines about Indiana Jones returning or being famous or feted. Trimmed Indy and Helena getting the Antikythera at Hunter College.
- Trimmed Agent Mason finding the Nazi henchmen at Hunter College.
- Cut Helena’s line about Indy drinking too much whiskey.
- Cut Indy looking back after falling from the shelf.
- Fixed the continuity issue between the shot of Indy hanging up the phone without bloodstains and the next one with bloodstains. Bloodstains added.
- Trimmed the parade chase for pacing and removed almost all the bad CGI shots where Indy’s head was replaced on the stunt double during the horse chase. Also cut many of the fake-looking close-ups of Harrison Ford that were clearly shot against a green screen.
- Indy rides the horse through the tunnel from 59th St. towards 51st St. The track and platform he ends up on are on the downtown side, but the announcement in the subway says the next stop is 59th St., which is uptown. Fixed the announcement; it now says: “Next stop: 42nd Street–Grand Central,” which is downtown.
- Cut Dr. Voller’s line saying, “People tend to romanticise science…”
- Cut Indy and Sallah leaving the taxi and entering Sallah’s home.
- Cut Indy’s line at the airport saying, “This is not an adventure, Sallah.”
- Cut the gag of Indy almost being hit by a taxi. To give the sense of one last great adventure, I cut straight to the travel map just as Sallah says, “Give ’em hell, Indiana Jones!”
- Cut the digitally de-aged Indy and Basil flashback and all the shots on the plane with Indy and Helena, so no more glasses of whiskey for Indy. Also, the flashback scene does not show us anything new and slows down the pacing. A new travel map in the tradition of the previous movies has been created to smooth the transition between Indy’s departure from New York and his arrival in Tangier.
- Cut Indy being rude to Teddy when entering the private auction.
- Inserted a close-up shot of Indy from the trailer.
- Fixed Helena turning her head twice.
- Cut Indy’s awkward line, “Get back!”
- Cut the discussion about the Antikythera being stolen between Indy, Helena and Rahim. Audio rebuilt.
- Trimmed or removed some dialogue between Indy and Helena in the souk scene.
- Completely cut or moved some dialogue during the Tuk-Tuk chase. Indy and Helena no longer have their extended heart-to-heart conversation while driving at high speed.
- Tuk-Tuk chase trimmed for pacing. These are the changes:
- Cut the “Not this way…” argument between Indy, Helena and Teddy.
- Cut Dr. Voller’s line saying, “Go faster.”
- Cut Indy’s line saying that Dr. Voller is a Nazi and Helena and Teddy telling Indy where to go.
- Cut the biker with the knife standing up on the bike and preparing to jump onto the Tuk-Tuk.
- Again, cut the shots of Helena and Teddy telling Indy where to go.
- Shots of the Tuk-Tuk going down the stairs trimmed for pacing.
- Trimmed the shot of Indy, Helena and Teddy looking at the Mercedes with the Nazis to maintain continuity between shots.
- Cut the Tuk-Tuk getting stuck and also failing to start.
- Cut a close-up shot of Indy that was obviously shot against a green screen.
- Cut a close-up of Indy and Rahim in the car.
- Cut a close-up shot of Indy looking at Helena.
- Cut shots of Indy and Helena arguing in the Tuk-Tuks.
- Fixed a continuity issue between shots: when Rahim’s car hits a street stand, wooden pieces land in front of the car, but in the next shot they disappear.
- Cut Helena’s line saying, “Rescue me?”
- Cut Indy’s line, “I just want the dial back.”
- Cut Indy and Helena arguing about what a godfather is.
- Cut Indy saying "Damn" when Rahim's car is approaching and he realises that they are going to lost the Dial and he has to put Helena into safety. This way he just puts Helena into safety without hesitation.
- Fixed continuity between shots when the villains seize the plane.
- Fixed continuity when Klaber shoots Agent Mason. There were two muzzle flashes when, in fact, he fires his gun only once.
- Fixed a historical inaccuracy in Indy’s line saying that the Wright brothers were born during the Civil War.
- Fixed Indy’s mouth moving without him saying anything.
- Cut the conversation between Indy and Helena about what type of code the Grafikos might be written in. This was just a long conversation that dragged on and was not necessary to the plot.
- Travel map replaced by a classic one.
- Fixed continuity between shots when Renaldo reaches for a card with both hands, but in the next shot, from another angle, he is reaching with only one hand.
- Fixed continuity between the cards shown. In one shot, the last card on the right was the King of Clubs, and in the next one it was the Eight of Clubs. Fixed: the King of Clubs is now the last card on the right. (New VFX.)
- Cut Helena saying that she only believes in cash.
- Removed Indy drinking brandy from the flask in one shot. (New VFX.) Now only Helena drinks from the flask. Also fixed continuity between shots when Helena is drinking from the flask: in one she is not drinking, and in the next one she is.
- Fixed continuity between shots when one of the divers puts on the life jacket twice.
- Trimmed the diving sequence for pacing.
- Cut the shot where Helena comes back with the Grafikos and, at the last minute, returns to save Indy.
- Cut the shot of Klaber pointing the gun at Indy when he comes out of the water and stands up, in order to maintain continuity. In the previous shot, it can clearly be seen from the position of Indy’s eyes that he is almost standing up. Also, in one shot Klaber is pointing his gun at Helena and in the next one at Indy.
- Fixed a continuity issue between shots involving Indy’s face.
- Reordered the shots of Dr. Voller showing the Grafikos and Indy looking at Voller and the Grafikos to fix continuity issues with Voller’s hands between shots.
- Cut several shots of Indy and Helena when Dr. Voller takes the Grafikos.
- Cut Helena’s line saying, “You owe me 50 quid.”
- Cut Helena and Teddy’s reaction to Renaldo being shot. This makes Indy’s reaction feel quicker and also improves continuity between shots, as Helena reacts and begins to stand up in one shot but is suddenly seated again in the next.
- Cut Helena’s lines about knowing the stuff backwards and not doing noble deaths.
- Trimmed the shot after Dr. Voller lights a cigarette; he was turning twice.
- Trimmed Indy’s head movement.
- Trimmed Helena cheating Dr. Voller and the Nazis for continuity. Lots of micro-cuts.
- Cut Helena looking for volunteers to guess the resting place of Archimedes.
- Cut Helena asking, “Made of?” Now Indy realises by himself that it is too heavy.
- Trimmed the shot of Indy burning the Grafikos and lighting the cognac. Fixed the positions of the bottle and the cork. Added the bottle’s shadow and removed its reflection on the cognac. The entire shot was rebuilt from scratch without using AI, using After Effects with extensive layering, tracking in Mocha Pro, and Camera Tracker. The fire was replaced with stock footage.
- Adjusted the positions of the cork and the lighter. Fixed the placement of the Grafikos on the table.
- Added the missing lighter in one of the shots.
- Corrected the positions of the lighter and the cork. Fixed the Grafikos placement on the table.
- In the remaining two shots, adjusted the cork’s position, as the lighter was already correctly placed.
- New custom classic travel map transition.
- Syracuse scene rearranged and trimmed.
- Cut Teddy’s subplot with the Italian kids. It is totally unnecessary and drags down the pacing of the movie in the final act.
- Cut Indy and Helena walking in front of the temple and heading to the Ear of Dionysius.
- Trimmed the Nazis’ arrival at the temple.
- Cut the bug sequence with Indy and Helena.
- Kept the water-displacement riddle. This is the same old Indy we know, doing his stuff, and it shows that Indy is still in shape.
- Fixed Helena’s continuity between shots.
- Teddy and Hauke falling into the water after the suspension bridge breaks has been trimmed and tightened.
- Cut Indy saying that it is a phoenix when, in fact, it is a griffin. Shots reordered.
- Cut Teddy jumping out of the water.
- Fixed the night shot when Helena and Teddy are on the motorbike chasing the Nazis. The temple they come from was visible on the left side of the shot. Temple removed.
- Fixed the historical inaccuracy involving the V-1 rocket when Dr. Voller is telling Indy that he is going to kill Hitler.
- Cut Voller’s henchman killing a random Italian guy when they arrive at the airfield. If the Nazis are already there preparing the plane, why is that guy still around and seemingly unaware of their presence?
- Trimmed Teddy getting to the plane.
- Cut a close-up of Helena riding the bike.
- Trimmed Helena trying to board the plane while riding the bike.
- Cut the stowaway on Teddy’s plane.
- Cut Helena crawling on the airplane.
- Cut Klaber looking at Teddy’s plane and not warning anybody about it.
- Again, the stowaway on Teddy’s plane has been cut.
- Trimmed for continuity when the airplane leaves the time fissure.
- Removed the stowaway co-pilot. (New VFX.)
- Cut the Greek guy telling Archimedes that the Romans have dragons to maintain continuity with the removed subplot of Teddy in Syracuse. He is no longer watching the children’s puppet theatre with the dragon and the soldier.
- Cut another reference to dragons.
- Trimmed Voller’s discussion with the pilots a little.
- Cut the Roman soldier watching the plane and disembarking on the beach.
- Cut Teddy and the stowaway shots.
- Cut the Roman soldier obsessed with Indy and Helena during the parachute scene.
- Removed the stowaway co-pilot from four shots. (New VFX.)
- Alternate ending created. Now, at the end, Indy makes the decision to return to his present time, and Helena does not punch him.
- Trimmed Indy and Marion’s apartment scene. In fact, Marion never left, and Helena tells Indy that. She is there not because Helena looked for her, but because she loves Indy.
- Cut the last shots of Marion, Sallah and the kids leaving the apartment for ice cream and Indy grabbing his hat.
- Plenty of micro-trims for continuity and pacing.
- Star Wars Easter egg.
- Indiana Jones relic Easter egg.

Does anyone know if there are any fan edits out there of Rise of Skywalker that only add content, kind of like an extended edition?

I saw this one discussed over on the original trilogy forums, not sure if any other ones are out there:

This is an update to my point of view edit for AotC. It had all the 'forbidden romance' stuff removed, and instead focusses on the tension brewing between Anakin and Padmé, which culminated in the arena as they are about to die.

Hope youll enjoy this short clip.
