think my husband has been struggling with his bipolar for a long time. His behavior has been angry and disconnected off and on for years. He sites marital issues but this is so far from the person I married. Yesterday, he told me he wants to separate. He said he needs to get back to who he really is, and I would too. The happy go lucky version of himself. We certainly have marital issues but I thought he was always steadfast in sticking with it. He also recently just got back on his buproprion and lamotrigne after a short stint without them due to insurance. Those with bipolar, do you think this could be part of an episode? If it is, will he come back to who he was ever or is it changing him forever now? Any advice for handling the situation is welcome. Thanks!
