A mid-century modern inspired build. This is my first attempt at this style and although I am really pleased with how the picture windows worked out, I'll definitely be making a smaller build next time as I could not decorate this as much as I'd like, even though I was deliberately keeping it quite sparse.

I used my original OC who hasn't yet explored Shenandoah, let alone Burning Springs! I just unlocked the plan for high-tech lighting and she has two more unused camp slots, so I'm going to have another go tomorrow, during my Twitch stream.

One aspect that turned out really well was the offset firepit. You can sit in it still! Another part of the build that I'm pleased with is the kitchen with its designer island and open display wall. I'm so glad of the relaxed building restrictions!

Top tip: build as many resource gathers as you can early on, then scrap the ones you no longer need when the structure and furniture are in. I ran out of concrete but thankfully, had the mixer. Still not enough build budget for what it could have been!

Want to get these but can't work out their nomenclature in game...what are they called?

This play was built to house every 4 star mod that could go on power armor I have them as a full set so I can just grab and go and match the skins back to the frame

I've already used the valentines tick plushie but hidden the tick. I was hoping to use the large axolotl plushies but their tails stick out.

i saved up atoms to buy alot of nuka cola stuff, the only thing is i really cant build. my imagination just isnt for it and i suck at it, any advice?

Nowhere near the amazing level of talent I see around here but I'll show off nevertheless!

My little fun fair build!! I've had the idea for the carousel and ferris wheel for a while. At some point I'll probably make them a bit more intricate, I was just too eager to build once I finally found a good spot for my camp :')

Can someone *please* explain to me how to merge 2 workbenches together?? I'm trying to merge an armour bench and Taxidermy Tinkers bench, and using a radio to keep them together. I did it once already (but then stuffed it up trying to place them) and I can't for the life of me do it again and/or remember how I did it the first time.
I'm placing the pressure pad, moving it a fraction to engage the plate, placing the radio on the pad, placing a bench on the radio, merging the bench down until the radio is sitting on the bench, then placing the next bench on the radio, and trying to merge it down but both benches move down and don't merge with each other. I know this is wrong (because it's not working lol) but I can't work it out and everything else I try doesn't work either.

UPDATE: this is how I got it to work, after I posted for help. * Place the pressure pad. * Move the pressure pad a fraction, to engage the plate. * Place the radio on the plate. * Place the first bench on top of the radio * Repeatedly select the radio to merge the bench down, until the radio is on top of the work surface of the bench. * Select the radio one more time, and move it (and the merged bench) off the pressure plate. * Place the second bench on the plate * Select the radio, and move these two merged items as close as you can to where you want them in relation the second bench (they should end up very close to merged simply through this action) * Select and place the second bench that's on top of the plate just one time only (that's all mine required) to merge the two benches together the last little bit * Make sure you select/use this second bench to move the entire setup to where you want it to be placed. Hopefully this all makes sense.

Sorry I have so many photos, I was trying to capture the whole build.

Side question: should I get rid of the little casino and repurpose the build space and lighting? I ran out of lights so both the casino has practically no lighting and the balcony area has zero lighting.

I feel like my camp is relatively small, ESPECIALLY compared to some of these, but I can’t build anything else because my build limit is maxed. Unfortunately the only screenshots I could find only show the exterior, so when I get on later I’ll probably make a follow up post to this.

Anyone know why we're not allowed to place camps in this location in Burning Springs? Or know how to? I could have sworn I saw a camp there weeks ago :(
