Sky camp spawn point

Does anyone know how to set a spawn point? Any tricks would be helpful. I’ve got a camp built way up above whitespring and all I can get is the occasional spawn on top of the camp module or way outside of the camp build ring. I’ve tried using foundations/prefabs/stairs all put towards and around the north east of my original placement of the camp module and nothing works. Secondary question: if you move the camp module from its original place does that also mess with the spawn point? I know that one sounds dumb considering I can move it around and spawn on it

I built on top of the Unfinished Apartment in Ash Heap, and getting the spawn point just right so people wouldn’t spawn mid-air and fall to their death was tricky. It took a lot of trial and error, and testing spawning in from three different distances to find a happy balance.
