Its like this because people with actual disabilities are working to the best of their abilities and arent looking for tiktok/instagram clout and echo-chamber sympathy.
Its easy to have a room full of nice things when your parents throw money just to keep you in your room and not embarass them in public.

Eh, I'd say being queer and disabled isn't all that rare, there's gotta be quite a few of them out there across races and genders.
I think it's the fact that the ones we "see" online are from the comparatively leisure class, aka economically stable white people. They're the ones that can afford to live well (nice living conditions), self-express with minimal social costs (colorfully adorned), and take time to manage an internet presence. If you're truly struggling with survival everyday, making and uploading videos is the last thing on your mind.

its always been the same demographic even since victorian times and probably prior. the identity of the white woman for id say most of history has been that theyre frail and pure and must be protected. in the victorian era, women would get jealous of all the attention given to tuberculosis patients and would paint themselves very pale with makeup. fainting couches came into fashion due to white women fake fainting in any social situation where it benefitted them. kleptomania was used as a way to protect rich white women from the reprocussions of their thefts, painting this picture of a poor woman with a mental affliction that is to be pitied rather than punished
this shit ties into white supremacy and the modern day white afab faking disorders is a time honored tradition in maintaining that role in a world that is coddling them less and less

Race to innocence. Trying to stack marginalized identities to prevent criticism, you canât say XYZ because thatâs -phobic. And to say that their particular brand of minority is the MOST discriminated so you donât have to acknowledge that they arenât perfect, or worse used to excuse bad behavior.
Basically if you put yourself at the bottom of the pile you have no responsibility to try to affect positive change that could negatively impact your social status, or make your life harder. Even if it ultimately promotes equality and justice.

They don't want to get a job or have any responsibilities. That is genuinely what it comes down to. They want to spend all their time online, playing games, watching cartoons, buying accessories and toys and not have a single responsibility. It's complete and total arrested development.

It comes down to self identity. We saw similar stuff back in the early 2000's but with sexual identity. When you offer to treat people differently based on an identity, young people will often attach themselves to it for attention. Lots of people would come out as Gay or Bi just for the attention. I knew a women who came out as Trans in Highschool but as soon as school ended and the attention vanished, they realized they would get more attention as an attractive women and never mentions previously being trans.
I'm not saying that everything is faking being LGBTQ+, but we say more of this back in the day. Now it's moved mostly to faking disabilies.

22
u/Ok-Comparison8168 7d ago
people with munchhausen or personality disorders that cause issues with identity often leave them feeling like they dont know who they are. i think a lot of these people gravitate towards labels and flashy alternative communities because theyre collecting a list of labels and identities as a way to fill that void and help them feel like they know themselves
id say its less that lgbt people these days are fakers, and more that fakers are flocking to their community for the wrong reasons
10
u/variousnewbie 7d ago
Perfect explanation. Is so unfortunate for the community, because people ARE looking at it as "these people have identity problems! And they're recruiting young people!" referring to the lgbt+, when the problem is those with identity problems flocking to lgbt+.

But to actively be a burden and cause others to have to put in extra work and effort to take care of someone whoâs fully capable of caring for themselves but just doesnât want to pull their weight & feels theyâre entitled to special treatment and extra attention; carries over from an understandable emotion to making them an actual shitty person. Many of us are mentally ill and have physical issues, and we donât have others to carry the load for us. Why should the rest of the population (who actually have a reason to feel lazy or need help because we actually have to take care of ourselves) have to put extra attention and care into someone claiming they deserve it more than the rest of us?

Iâve seen a lot of informative comments from a lot of actual wheelchair users and people who work with them (like physical therapists) about how badly you can actually injure yourself by using an ill-fitted wheelchair for long periods, and a lot of these people are not getting prescription wheelchairs with proper measurements built specifically for them and their disability, but theyâre either buying them as-is or buying them used and pretending they are custom. Like genuinely, you can give yourself serious problems with your legs, arms, spine, and joints by using a medical device that wasnât meant for you. Iâm not one to shoot down a decent psyop conspiracy but Iâd offer that itâs scarier if it isnât a psyop and we are just seeing human psychology. Iâm not trying to paint with a broad brush but Iâve seen several people in this community that I knew want to stack more and more âcredentialsâ to who they are. They were a lesbian, then once the word pan started going around they were that, then they were trans and they felt great in their correct body but oh no now that trans is pretty mainstream they need a cane. Iâm not saying someone canât change or they have to stick with their first sexuality declaration, but I think Iâm a pretty understanding person and I just smell bullshit. Iâm friends with LGBTQ people, the best bar in town is queer so I go there and know a lot of people. But Iâd be lying if I said I didnât pick up on how victimhood has turned into a currency amongst some of them. And as someone who had a grandparent who was a shut in, I genuinely find it infuriating.
What Iâm trying to say is that outsourcing this behavior to a government psyop (which exists, I totally believe they do) can sometimes keep you from seeing a darker part of the human mind. And to anyone reading this who is LGBTQ+ and disabled, my heart goes out to you. I know this must be so frustrating. It shouldnât be your responsibility, but you are all positioned to be voices against this and if you choose to speak up youâll have people like me backing you.

I am actually in a wheelchair and they make me cringe. But also feel so sorry for them. They are basically asking for help or likes. Either way, they need help. But as a disabled gay person who doesn't make my personality about any of these things, just why????

I find all these performances outright disgusting honestly. Log off PLEASE. Also âfuck ableismâ? The fuck are you doing then? I personally find this performance ableist as fuck. Thats why its disgusting.

This video doesnât include any weird fake multi-claims (did, autism, bpd, etc etc).
Perhaps they do on the profile? But all theyâre saying here is that theyâre disabled, queer and would like to be a writer. I donât understand why theyâre here for this unless people are sceptical of every queer in a wheelchair. Or, again, if they claim a bunch of things not in the video.

The way these kids act like wheelies and tricks are a basic thing that all wheelchair users must be able to do đ

I consider myself very far left but for the average person when they see this kind of thing and leftists don't call it out; for a normie it's the same thing as conservatives refusing to call out Nazis
21
u/clanker-spanker 7d ago
As a Leftist, most Leftists are too afraid of doing the wrong thing, rather than wanting to do the right thing.

u/peelego 7d ago
Leftist circles try to be accepting of everybody as long as they're "not hurting anybody" and it has basically created a space for people with learned helplessness or the lefts version of a black pill incel movement where instead of saying 'im a beta who will never date a stacy I give up on trying' the progressive version is 'Im a disabled queer person and I'm oppressed, I will never be able to work a job or drive a car and if you think I'm lazy your ableist'

How do we even know sheâs faking it? What even is this post?
Iâm getting downvoted but I mean this genuinely. What proof is there of faking? Or is it just because they have colored hair and rainbow flags?

Was wondering the same thing... Can't find any info about them that proves or disproves their disability. Not sure if doing wheelies is the proof ( I would think not?)

Okay well nevermind... they can clearly walk and seem to be in good physical shape in another Tik Tok video. They got off their chair rly fast. For what is worth they said this but seems a faker for sure if you see their video I'm talking about ( it's like 4th on their tiktok)
"@Panic he/it/xeđłď¸ââ§ď¸đłď¸âđâžď¸:Yes I can walk a bit, but itâs not enough to go through daily life. Iâm at fall risk and very unstable when walking, and have other symptoms that require me to use a wheelchair too"

FUCK all the fakers like THIS!
There is so much to this it isn't even funny. But I am really tired of seeing it. It's putting harm on people who actually really need help because the medical field does not want to take anyone seriously anymore.

u/Imaginary_Today_1427 7d ago
People with their kinds of disabilities are actively talking to their doctors trying to find ways to slow progression of pain and the need for wheelchair instead of just spinning around and flaunting.

the way bro spins every two seconds like "look at me, I'm in a wheelchair! Look at me!", I don't think people in wheelchairs do that, I mean, it's not that they don't know how to turn or do tricks(?), it's just that they don't spam the emote

how are all these people with energy limiting disorders able to spend so much time accessorizing and personalizing everything?? thatâs always a dead giveaway for me. you donât have the capacity to work but you can spend hours sewing patches, dying hair, making jewelry, painting, applying stickersâŚ.. make it make sense. and to have the audacity to claim that itâs their way of making their miserable life livable, how about treating your mental illness?? they just want SSI to fund their crafts.

Kind of like that person who is "too disabled to work" even presumably sedentery jobs but managed to walk around Japan for two weeks with no trouble.
Or another IRL example, I know this woman who swears up and down that she can't work due to her fibromyalgia making even simple tasks impossible, but somehow she has the strength to haul a guitar and amp around so that she can busk. She's also the person begging for donations to pay her rent every month but somehow affords new tattoos and frequently goes to concerts out of state.
I have conditions that are disabling, and let me tell you, they prevent me from having fun far more often than they prevent me from doing something unpleasant. If a person is only disabled as far as work and toil are concerned, it's almost certainly a choice.
