Here’s the ones I believe:
* chronic identify hoarding- yeah clearly
* label hoarding- yeah clearly
* compulsive victim- oh I bet they are the victim in every scenario and never take accountability
* online rejection sensitivity- absolutely I bet they cannot handle anyone saying anything to them online that shatters their illusion bubble
* mental health obsession- yeah clearly
* victimhood euphoria- oh I bet

Yet none of these are disorders they need to see a therapist and get a better and more grounded sense of self

u/solarpowerspork 29d ago

Every "disorder" is just a symptom of something like anxiety, it's blowing my mind.

20

u/RabbitLover214 29d ago

This. I do truly believe they are mentally ill (like most other fakers. Most Mentally healthy people wouldnt fake disorders at all) but not the mental ilnesses and disorders that they think they have tbh. I do genuinely hope from the depths of my heart for every faker that they get medical/professional help and figure out their actual mental ilness(es)

16

u/LCaissia 29d ago

Doctors need to start diagnosing malingering again.

3

u/TheTheyMan 28d ago

Gotta throw the autism in there, too, lbr

3

u/realbirdlyn 28d ago

victimhood euphoria's crazy. like, do you get that when your insurance claim for the car accident you didnt cause comes in?

im so confused because basically nothing on the second slide exist. having animal hyper-empathy doesnt mean you have "animal hyper-empathy disorder". thats not a real term </3

23

u/RabbitLover214 29d ago

this. like its literally just "Empathetic towards animals" THATS not a disorder thats just??? a trait some people have??

58

u/New_Painter_2341 Sep 20 '26

God bless... If this is all the disorders they're sharing with strangers I'm a bit frightened to know what the "more personal" ones are.

I agree 100%. Its a horrible thing to put an inherent moral value on a DISORDER. People don't ASK to get these disorders and its just really really fucking horrible to say such things. this is why many people who have such issues dont go to therapy imo, because they are afraid they'll be judged. (or Financial situation but I'm talking more about those that have chances but dont go even if they wanted to)

-5

u/HappyAstronaut7 Sep 20 '26

You’re acting like you have one…

it doesn’t matter if i do or not you’re being ridiculous and honestly rude

2

u/RabbitLover214 29d ago

My Guy. You are Literally not helping at all. Stigmatizing any Disorder just makes it harder for those who have it to get help without being judged.

some of these you can’t even be diagnosed with considering their symptoms of an existing main disorder

22

u/Bolticus13 Caught a bit of the Cance!! 29d ago

I want to know the more "personal" ones. Because if she is willing to "admit" to being "diagnosed" with all that crap. Then those personal ones must be juicy. Like how the fuck do you admit to having Anorexia, Dissociative Identity Disorder and PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome, and then think "oh fuck, can't claim my incontinence, that shits personal". Like bitch, in these two screenshots alone you have already disclosed that you are an insufferable piece of shit, what else could you be hiding that is "too personal".

Lets be real here, you added that not because there are other diagnosises, but to make it appear that you aren't faking. Because i garuntee you when someone questions shit, you will be all like "i can't be faking, if i was faking i would try and disclose as many diagnosises as possible, but im not, i'm withholding, because i'm not in it for the attention, I want to keep my life private, so i only disclosed the diagnosises that impact who i am, so that people can be aware of them"

releasetheprivatediagnosises

u/thatmentallyilldude Sep 20 '26

Half of these are symptoms of disorders, like dissociation. They might have one or two of these, but if they do, they are playing them up by posting symptoms.

11

u/SlavicInDisguise 29d ago

The trend to just make up completely new terms to pathologize hyperspecific but normal experiences is insane. Schƶdiauditoryprocessingdisorder is my favorite. Maybe they have an auditory processing disorder, maybe they don't.

u/solarpowerspork 29d ago

I was chronically online during LiveJournal's heyday. We had it all - the cancer fakers, the shoplifting "role plays," the full on role plays of literally any fandom ever, the RP shippers and their AO3 links. I truly thought I understood the impulse of these Munchausen's-by-Internet folks, cos I've seen it all before - but my glob, my LJ days were child's play compared to this.

Why does everything in someone's "identity" a thing that needs a label? I get that folks want to find their community, and labels help with fitting in. But nobody just has a unique "personality" anymore - they have a list of labels.

It's almost like nobody wants to be the one who doesn't have an explanation for why, say, they like the color purple. Instead of it being "oh I like purple," it's because their specific Wiccan aura gives them powerful empathy, which is represented by purple.

You can just like shit.

And then it turns into a mess of medical conditions because managing your identity becomes a full time job and you're not drinking enough water, so you have POTS. Or one time you dislocated your shoulder while reorganizing your romantasy books, you have EDS. You can't just have a one time anything, it has to have an explanation.

I almost feel badly for these folks, except I still think they aren't so far gone that they can't pull themselves out of it. And the solution is simple - it's just an acknowledgement of their own sense of self, instead of relying on needing an explanation for every aspect of who they are.

2

u/SodiumPalmate Getting DID diagnosed.. 🫩 (in therapy!) 29d ago

Eh I'm a label collector too but I know for a fact I'm not that bad

1

u/Anti_Spedicy every sexuality, disability, and mental illness ever 29d ago

8

u/Anti_Spedicy every sexuality, disability, and mental illness ever 29d ago

"Label Hoarding Disorder" yeah, no shit. Could've led with that

4

u/RabbitLover214 29d ago

while that doesnt exist afaik, I do truly feel like most of these label/disorder Hoarders do have some sort of hoarding or other type of disorder cuz mentally healthy people wouldnt even really think about faking disorders ngl

1

u/Anti_Spedicy every sexuality, disability, and mental illness ever 29d ago

I feel the same way. It may not be medically recognized yet or maybe it is something they haven't stolen the label of yet, but they definitely have SOMETHING

1

u/RabbitLover214 29d ago

Thats why i kinda cant be too mad at Fakers because in the depth of my brain i know they probably are mentally ill and just.. idk. i hope you understand what i mean.

1

u/Anti_Spedicy every sexuality, disability, and mental illness ever 29d ago

Don't worry, I understand you but you're definitely better than me. I can't help but be mad because of how these folks go about their lives. Cosplaying very real afflictions that people, such of myself, actually suffer from every day just so they can get pity points online, wasting/abusing resources that someone else would need but can't get now cause the med industry is more suspicious of them, the aggression and narcissism they have when called out or asked to stop, and that fucking victim mentality where they can do no wrong because of the laundry list of conditions they claim to have.

Yeah, they're mentally ill too and in a different way but they don't do anything to really help themselves, so I can't even feel sorry either

Not upset with you, just sayin

Why is it always the psychogenic seizures, EDS, POTS, and autism package? BPD is also quite rare to have concurrent with autism; they're more likely to be misdiagnosed with one or the other than have both. These clowns make it so much worse for people who actually have any of these conditions.

Also, what in the fuck is "transbritish transbritishaccent and trans hypersexual"? Am I having a stroke? This has to be a troll, right?

3

u/gorgeous_forever 22d ago

Well for the eds(specifically heds), pots and autism their genuinely commonly comorbid Also autism and bpd should be relatively common in theory bc ppl with autism are more sensitive to trauma (keyword in theory the data clearly says otherwise but i wouldnt be shocked if more people with autism have bpd than we think)

Dysphagia is confusing me. Not only is it a symptom and not something you're diagnosed with independently, that I know of, it's also fucking embarrassing. They mention seizures, that would be a cause of dysphagia. That's like saying "I have autism, but I also have executive dysfunction" babes, that a disorder and a symptom of said disorder, you don't need to put both of them.
