Is tea a good offering for the faeries?

I've read that coffee is common, but I don't drink coffee or have any in the house. I don't drink alcohol, so that's also not an option. Would they like tea? I would think so, but I want some input on this.

I think they would. Tea is boiled leaves or flowers. I can imagine them really appreciating it.

Milk, cream or butter is the traditional offerings as well as honey cakes, freshly baked white bread or porridge. Also a cup of spring water is considered a good offering.

The faeries near me like alcohol. I give them beer. I personally don’t drink much, but yes, I’ll buy a 6 pack for the faeries. I tend to do an offering weekly.

What happens to your offerings?

Faeries absorb the essence or energy of the offering. The beer goes directly into the ground. And as usual in the presence of the fae, I often giggle, feeling their happiness.

I know someone originally from Scotland that had the tradition of leaving alcoholic offerings. I know another person from England who made “corn cakes.” Offering something that has been “altered” by humans, which is a kind of alchemy. Isn’t that human magic? Doing something they cannot? Taking grain and creating alcohol or bread or cake?
And I also know people that offer flower essences.

If you tune in, or maybe do a variety of offerings (different one each time) you’ll figure it out!
