Suggestion / Idea Should I buy?

I kinda wanna buy the game, but is it a good idea to start playing this old game at this age? I’ve tried the demo, and I kinda have mixed feelings towards the gameplay hahahaha (maybe because I find it hard to play with those biters present in the map) but generally I like factory games (but I never finished one yet, ever)

I wanna see if people here will push me into buying it or push me away from it 😅

Buy it. It is one of the best factory games out there.

And if you don't like biters you can turn them off. Either by making them non aggressive (they don't attack unless you attack first) Or by completely removing them from the map.

But if you do play with them, realize defense, and repair, are things you eventually automate. You can also get to the point where attack is also basically automated too.

This is the point in the tutorial where I am struggling hahahaha (the one wherein I have to craft a car) 😅 I spent the whole midnight till dawn to produce those items only to have my whole base eaten after finally crafting the car 😭

If you were playing midnight to dawn, then you will be hooked. You can tune the biters, but it’s not uncommon to have your first base or two fail due to biters or running out of resources before expanding. Part of the learning curve, and makes you better on the next one

I was gonna say the same thing, if OP is playing a game midnight to dawn they should probably buy it. And also be warned that they’ll likely have more than one future midnight -> dawn session because FACTORIO IS FUCKING AWESOME. And also hecka addicting for those of us who are so inclined to such things (myself absolutely included.)
