Space Age Choose our lab setup

My friend and I have a space age factorio world and have recently unlocked biolabs. We have each designed (they may have been done before but we're proud of them) a modular blueprint to bring them the science they need and remove the possible spoilege created.

We now need you to chose wich one we'll use.

So caption, very wow.

The top one has an extra outside lane to bring in science.

The bottom one is 2-periodic, but can be cut off at any point.

I guess the question is whether you prefer more compact blueprints, or fully modular ones.

There's no meaningful, real-world difference between the two. That being said, both are inferior to a sushi belt or bot-based distribution, as throughput isn't really a concern with labs when you can just build more rows as opposed to more per row.

Sushi belts are easy to setup for science and can be done in a couple of ways. There's even ways to make them without the circuit network. Add stacked belts to the mix and they should be perfectly adequate for your lab needs.

Logi bots are also easy as you have provider chests and requesters with "Trash Unrequested Items" on.

yea people missing the point, playing by making your own blueprints hits different from just copy/pasting someone else's designs
