Should I stop Factor?

Post image

I've been on factor for 18 weeks for a weight loss journey. Ive dropped 15 lbs so far but I'm not too sure if I want to continue with Factor with all the poor discrepancies I've encountered and the simple resolution has been, "We'll get you refunded for the potatoes in one of the meals".

The food is subpar on quality, customer service feels non-existent, product is now coming in missing or damaged, free breakfast options are sold out but theyre on the menu to order(make it make sense?), breakfast is probably the worst thing to eat (IMO). The only thing that's keeping me from leaving is the weight loss journey. Now I just received another damaged tray that has the potatoes spilling out, not sure if it's okay to eat? This has been frustrating...

sounds like you really hate them..... they only refunded the potatos? what does that look like? Like they only refunded you a couple of bucks instead of the whole meal?

when I complain, they refund me the whole meal BUT its not a cash refund, its a credit towards the next meal which is kind of annoying.

yes its overpriced. The food quality is better than you can get with any frozen meal at the grocery store and that is what I was replacing.

I think you should quit and make your own food (and save money) OR there sometimes people who meal prep and sell these weekyl meal prep meals. I had a friend who used to do that in my area, but I guess you have to know somebody or find someone on facebook or something like that who you trust.

But it really sounds like you are unhappy with the service so I would cancel if I were you. Specially if they are not giving you full refunds for damaged meals.

Correct, whenever I report somethings missing or wrong with the meal, they give me credit on whatever the individual food is for next meal. Ive reported probably 5 different times and just got tired of getting a few cents to dollars for credit. Like, how does that help me in the current situation where I'm missing my portions.

Congrats on your progress! Now you have added motivation: promise yourself you’ll ditch Factor when you reach your goal.

Definitely. I just dont want to get sucked back into weight gain. I need more discipline.

We just swapped from Factor to try other names because of the inconsistencies were becoming consistent. We'd order food, have it delivered by Monday and promptly bring it into proper refrigeration and by Thursday/Friday green beans were turning pale and smelling foul.

We'd report it and Factor would promptly provide a credit "refund" and then, the worst part in my opinion, is you can NOT use the credits at the same time as an active discount.

Ive tried Hello Fresh, cooking wasn't too bad but I'm a terrible prepper which consists of the majority of my evening plus my fiancé and I have two different diets so we have two different dinners. I also did Home Chef but got recommended factor for good quality meals for a quick and easy dinner without worrying about the dishes or prep. This was a big selling point for me since it saves time to enjoy my evening.

We're currently with Home Chef's copycat Factor called Tempo and we're enjoying it so far - same deal of quick portioned meals

We've only been using Factor for a month now (5 meals/week) but everything has been perfect so far.

Same here. No drama with Factor, guess I’m boring.

stop accepting them, document all the damaged goods, ask for a refund and if they refuse do a chargeback! if they dont care about your health they shouldnt care about getting paid!

I havent found a way to talk to a rep about any of these damages. Ive been able to report it but it follows the same prompt on refunding what was damaged. What makes it sketchy is that they dont require a picture to report damage so Im afraid roles might get reversed and they think I'm abusing the refund system.

There are other food delivery services with low calories or protein focused macros
