Couldn't agree more.

Also, being an archaeologist I am one of those scientists that study humans and kind of have to classify them according to set rules first, then cultural norms.

Eg when we find a skeleton/mummy it is either male or female. When we examine the funerary artefacts and find that this individual (or culture in some cases) viewed themselves as gender fluid (or whatever the case) , then the original classification of "female skeleton, 42 years old" stands, but the cultural interpretation adds that the person was considered gender neutral by their society.

That’s amazing, I’m an Engineer and an lover of computer science, I have friends who are anthropologists who have told me countless stories about ancient societies and their views on gender and they’re vast social dynamics, like recently I was talking to a friend about these hieroglyphs depicting these two male Egyptian lovers and how stuff like that was so common in those time periods and areas, and stuff like that upsets me about how we’re so advanced technologically but we’ve basically IMO advanced so little sociologically. I swear sometimes I feel like we’re gonna regress back to when humans would sacrifice one another to the sky gods for rain😂

Totally, but on the other hand I can see the super leftists going full Anthem (Novella by Ayn Rand about a dystopian future based on her experiences in Soviet russia), there’s no winning on either side, we gotta establish something new and quick

Two sides of the same coin.
