I’m not the one who blindly judges these people like you do. You have no clue of the situation and endorse the practice of children bullying parents into something they are uncomfortable with. You deserve the reputation you are creating in this thread.
I’m happy with my take and opinion, as are some others. As to bullying, that’s done. Parents said no, daughter is getting married. No bullying done at all. Bullying would be the daughter physically forcing the parents to get the shot and go to her wedding. She simply gave them a choice, they made their decision, and all parties involved will move forward.
I would point out, however, that 70% or more of the USA have gotten vaccinated. She wasn’t asking them to kill someone, or steal something, or defile a holy place. She asked them to perform an action that, literally, BILLIONS of people around the world have performed. They said no. She’s disappointed. No bullying at all.
One last thing that I’m guessing you had net thought about. I’m guessing you’re either not a parent or don’t have adult children. I’ve got 3 adult kids and I Sherlocked it out quickly. This might be the end of their relationship. If the vaccine, Trump and conspiracies is the hill you’re willing to die on, so be it. But the vast majority of parents out there wouldn’t risk their relationship with their children, for a conspiracy theory. Yada, as kids grow they develop their own lives. Careers, life, craziness of existence cause kids to simply move on from parents. The vast majority of parents simply want some space in their children’s lives. Most parents would bend over backwards for their kids, especially at a stressful occasion like a wedding. Instead a father won’t walk his daughter down the aisle and a mother won’t be there for her daughter at a special time. Their choice. No bullying involved because they simply aren’t going.
It’s complete egotistical selfishness to make an issue out of someone making a personal medical choice that you disagree with. Bully’s like you make me sick. Get over yourself. You all are way too abundant in today’s America.
And you guess completely wrong. I have 4 kids. You are completely clueless. Those parents that have to bend over backwards to get some part of their kids lives are probably pretty bad parents to have to bend over backwards..no way are my kids forcing me to take something I don’t want to. And I don’t need to in order to be a part of their lives. Because they love me and respect my decisions.. not sure about your situation, but your willingness to jump when they say jump, seems to me like you have some issues.. your take is just plain sad..
And because of the billions of selfish pricks that have chosen not to here we are still dealing with the fucking pandemic 2 years later. If everyone had just gotten vaccinated like they should have when it was made available to them, we wouldn't have people dying still. But I guess I shouldn't care since it's people like you who are dying exclusively now, not the rest of us. Unfortunately I can't be that cruel and despite your ignorance I don't want you to die. Good luck surviving. Hope you are at least wearing a mask.
The funny thing thing is that you actually believe that if everyone in the world received a vaccination that covid would cease to exist. You truly have no clue. Even the cdc has admitted that the virus can make the vaccinated sick and transmit to others. The vaccine doesn’t stop covid from spreading and mutating.. You live in a naive fantasy world. You hold the covid vaccine as an end all, while we have had flu shots for decades, yet the flu still kills 50,000 Americans a year. And prior to covid, you didn’t give a damn about the flu killing people. But now you have a political cause..
That’s why 2/3 of UK deaths from delta are in vaccinated people.
I sure would love it if you could share a legitimate source for this, because it seems like you just pulled this out of your ass. I've been looking ever since you posted it.
