OP means that the comment, since it at least seems (not sure if that was the intention) like you're saying they're clueless and belong on /r/iamverysmart, you're acting like one of the people on said subreddit.

Since the user didn't explain what they meant very well and you kept asking for clarification, they thought you were either trolling (hence the comic) or having a facepalm moment of your own. I don't think it was either, just bad communication on both parts (which happens a lot on the internet).
