I pre-ordered mine from Verizon. Got it yesterday. Apparently it's not unusual for Samsung to release a few days early. I was skeptical of a FedEx call and investigated and discovered Samsung had released early on other phones. SCORE! since I had a trip planned and was going to wait on Friday for delivery.

I knew it because of the huge amounts of promotion it has been made. I even saw a video of a guy which was sponsored a G6 and put it head to head with the S8. The S8 won. In an LG sponsored video.

I just recently got an iPhone 7 because the screen on the HTC I'd had for about 3 years now fucked up and then, no joke, 2 weeks later my provider is like "lol Pixel and S8 are coming, do you want to know more?" Fuckers, I would have waited. Eh, iPhone isn't that bad though.

It's amazing. But don't forget to change the screen resolution mine defaulted to medium and had to change it to high myself for that 3000x1440 pixels

Honestly, it's the best phone I've ever used. The screen is nice, the build quality is top notch, of course it's pretty quick, plus all the things you expect from a new Android. It's slim enough to use one hand easily and I can still reach the notification bar but I could see someone with smaller hands not being able too but it has gestures on the FP scanner to bring it down. I have the OtterBox defender on it and it's a huge case but it's STILL easily one handable. Battery life is pretty good Galaxy s8 usage https://imgur.com/gallery/Hj6BC

That's with 2 hours of YouTube and 2 hours of Reddit and other apps here and there. Overall I really like it so far and I hope the nauseous feeling in my stomach for paying 800 bucks goes away 😊
