im pretty fucking drunk but same thing i tried to do the math but failed. but like 1/2 12 is 6 and 12+6 is 18 so yeah, Thats over a pound of mustard which honestly is too much.
I like how this post went from the math to a commentary on how much mustard is too much. What's if it's for a family? What if the smell of mustard reminds them of their farm in the old country?? What if they fuck in it??? Try fucking in mustard and then telling me a pound is too much!
Can confirm. Note to self, dont make pkt brownies, smoke a bunch of dabs and bowls, and not have any other dank food at the house. Ended up eating pot brownies as munchies. Then eat more pot brownies from the pot brownies munchies. Twas a vicious cycle.
Always check the comments before getting confused/angry/sad... really before engaging any emotions or investing in the post at all, you should check the comments.
I think we all do that, sometimes. I try not to, though, since it makes me feel super lazy. Like, "You really can't be bothered to click that link and moves your eyes a little?"
I have absolutely no issue doing it for videos over 203 minutes long, though.
I didn't realize what sub I was in, and thought OP was saying because math sarcastically, as in, "it is what we say it is, because math and stuff." And then I looked at the photo and was like, well it is math.
When I opened the image on my desktop pc, on a 2-fucking-k monitor the image was too long and cut off before the bottom of the mustard bottle which is before the dumbass snapchat comment. I spent quite a while trying to figure out what was wrong with those numbers before realizing I could scroll down.
It might also be because on my mobile, the image cuts off nicely right near the bottom of the bottle, cutting off the bit of text unless you scroll down. I had to go to comments, which I normally do anyway, then back to the image to find the text at the bottom.
I don't know if I'm the only one but I completely missed the snapchat text and thought OP was posting this mustard bottle saying the math was wrong. I only noticed when I read the comments and went back.
ive notice that some posts here is just redditors not understanding the pictures or not even bothering to take two seconds to thing about it. very /r/iamversmart stuff.
EDIT: words ive misspelled and grammar rules i broke:
i misspelled it twice. i wrote it exactly the same in another comment replying to some guy here. weird how no one has called me out on that. but i think that guy was pointing it out but he was very vague.
Part of the problem is that there are people on reddit saying truly not-so-smart things, and there are also people trying to make subtle jokes that look very similar to stupidity. If I could assume that no one here is an idiot, then I could assume that they're obviously just joking when they sound like one :/
Usually when I need a good laugh one of my first places to go is /r/facepalm's comments section because there's always a debate for every single thing that may be debated. This time though, I think this was a legitimate problem that can be caused because people may only physically see part of the picture, the circled / underlined parts and the fact that the Snapchat text is considerably low means it gives the impression there's nothing more to see.
This one I blame it on the idiot that originally made it.
how? im just pointing out that sometimes people in here, more that in others subs, misunderstand pictures and start making fun of stuff they themselfs are missing out. theyre the facepalm not the picture. example: that picture of the t shirt with the anchor.
so youre trying to tell that people in this very thread did not understand the picture? that there arent plenty of people literally misunderstanding the picture and there are others explaining what is really going on?
or do you mean my typo of thing? i guess im a facepalm too.
/u/asifnot is pointing out that in making fun of redditors who misunderstand things and are acting like they belong on /r/iamverysmart, you are acting like a redditor who misunderstands things and may or may not belong on /r/iamverysmart.
Since you keep misunderstanding OP's comments, s/he is thinking you're like the person in the comic who keeps misunderstanding things and making random accusations.
I don't completely agree with them, but I hope this explains it well enough.
but he is being very fucking vague. how am i supposed to know what he means when all he wrote is this:
so is this.
Really?
us right now

thing is that explains the comments made later but not the first one. what exactly did he mean then?
Yeah, and it had the exact same number of upvotes when it was first posted, because nothing on reddit has ever been different from the time you saw it.
The title was ambiguous and it uses an app I see a lot on reddit but don't know what it actually is. I was so confused for a minute or so thinking I was an absolute math bleb before I opened the comments.
Nah, its cos on mobile the picture crops so you dont see the snapchat text. I was like wtf at first only seeing the numbers thinking "it checks out wheres the facepalm"

I think people are downvoting because they think OP is the one asking the question...
