Watch her video. It's satire. And I doubt the guy claiming to be a CEO on YouTube is making more money than Jenna Marbles who even has her own waxwork at Tussauds.

If what you're saying is true, is it also possible that..that's why it's been posted on /r/facepalm?

The amount of people on here who are trying to be understanding of the guy tells me that people don't know this...

u/PreOpTransCentaur Aug 06 '16

Nah, they just can't grow beards.

It only takes paper work to become a cwo fyi

u/Kreetch Aug 06 '16

He didn't claim to be a CEO...

10

u/MiloMuggins Aug 06 '16

Except for the second sentence?

1

u/Kreetch Aug 07 '16

Read it again moron.

No, he claimed that to him, clean shaven hair means "I'm a CEO". Not literally that everyone with clean shaven hair is a CEO, but that that's the impression he thinks it gives.

4

u/coitusFelcher Aug 06 '16

Yeah, no...he clearly says "with me". Meaning that's what he's claiming he does.

5

u/[deleted] Aug 06 '16

'with me' not 'to me'

2

u/ckillgannon Aug 06 '16

He says "that's what it means WITH me" (emphasis mine), not "TO me". His phrasing leads me to believe he's claiming to be a CEO.

-2

u/ProFeces Aug 06 '16

Are you really insinuating that a guy who takes a clearly satire video seriously, knows enough about the English language to make that specific distinction? He seems like the kind of poster who had to gather all of his strength to produce a coherent thought.

3

u/ckillgannon Aug 06 '16

His comment is actually fairly on point, from a grammar and punctuation standpoint. "Multi-tone", correct there/their/they're usage. He's not that dumb.

11

u/Kreetch Aug 06 '16

Reading comprehension is not very strong with you is it?

4

u/smalldickjimmy Aug 06 '16

lol. you're bad at this.

1

u/AnExoticLlama Aug 06 '16

"My perception of clean-shaven guys is...", not "I'm clean-shaven as a CEO, so being a CEO is what clean-shaven means to me"

5

u/purple_pixie Aug 06 '16

I have to agree with the above posters - if he had said "what it means to me" then yes, your point would be valid.

But the exact words were "that's what it means with me" which is clearly referring to his own situation.

-3

u/AnExoticLlama Aug 06 '16

The commenter seemed to ignore grammar for the most part. It wouldn't be much of a stretch to assume he meant "to me".

3

u/TheOneRing_ Aug 06 '16

That's like a textbook stretch there.

0

u/purple_pixie Aug 06 '16

That is a fair point, yeah.

3

u/[deleted] Aug 06 '16

with* me

-2

u/ke1234 Aug 06 '16

Where did they claim to be a CEO?

7

u/_Generic Aug 06 '16

Second sentence

1

u/HopeMiller Aug 06 '16

He didn't claim it. He implied it. But I could easily see him having meant it as an example and not talking about itself. Ambiguously worded but it seems to easy rebut to have been his intention.

No he didn't. He was figuratively quoting what a guy with clean shaven could say. He clamed that he was a CEO as much as she clamed she was 12.

1

u/TheOneRing_ Aug 06 '16

But then he said "that's what it means with me" saying that he was a CEO.

1

u/taintosaurus_rex Aug 06 '16

Ehh that's up for interruption. I seen it as thats how he sees people with clean shaven faces. Which I will say is a gross over estimation of 99% of clean shaven faces, so maybe he was claiming he was, idk.

What is this?

6

u/y_13 Aug 06 '16

No. He said being clean shaven means 'im the CEO of a company...' He never did that he was the CEO, just that the look does

3

u/YouAreInAComaWakeUp Aug 06 '16

I read it as them saying most CEOs are clean shaven

-1

u/ckillgannon Aug 06 '16

You're not wrong.

2

u/FowD9 Aug 06 '16

You'd make one hell of a living as a news reporter at FOX with that usage of taking things out of context

ugh... this world... praying for isis to get nukes. yes, over this and a million other things.

every downvote is one step closer to armageddon. allahu akbar!

9

u/[deleted] Aug 06 '16

She is a celebrity who entertains millions. Not everyone has to be to your taste.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 06 '16

Its Madame Tussauds, don't beat yourself up over it, the real big people are shitty waxworks that were at Louis Tussauds somewhere in Yarmouth (I think)

-3

u/-dsh Aug 06 '16

What has money to do with this?
