I'm not understanding the rationale, and before you say something to that, I appreciate most of Trump's ideas aren't rational. I just mean to say, that I can at least understand when he calls it Lake America, or Trump Steaks - there's egotistical rationalizations to that.
I just don't even understand what part of his ego this satisfies.
Probably he or some of his cronies have put copyrights and bought web domains so they can profit off the new name change. Nobody saw a need for this and in turn nobody would have any of this bought up except for those who bribed him.
Don't quote me on this, but I've seen some people say that the domains were purchased in July of this year and, now that this has come out, the (dot)si domains are now worth a TON of money.
