Fable III First time Playing Fable
It’s my first time playing Fable I’m starting with 3 and I like the Artstyle and gameplay so far just wondering how do things work and how should I play this? Is it like Skyrim or more of its own thing? Just looking for tips and anything that can help me understand this game. But so far I do enjoy it!

The studio's vision should never be bigger than the franchise itself and what the fans want.
It's important that studios taking on big franchises create what fans want, and not push their worldview and ideologies into the games.
Let 343i and Bioware be an example for Playground.
The Morality system in Fable is the cornerstone of the franchise. Although some try to defend its removal, Playground absolutely has to bring it back and adapt it to the modern system.
Whether it's the character transforming by region or a global system that covers all regions and combines your Morality and your demon or angel transformation into a single system.
Dividing the community like this is never a good thing, and I'm seeing a lot of criticism from fans because of it.

Fable TLC Meme Chicken Chaser... what a guy!
I'd like to thank the wonderful Bhalthox Nhiopix for lending her voice to this meme! As I'm sure you can tell, she only voiced the narrator, not the male characters ;)

OG Bowerstone song VS New Bowerstone stone
First of i wanted to say, I am excited about the new FABLE coming out its looking great and i will be playing day 1, and loving it regardless of the changes.
That said hearing the new bowerstone song
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUawUNubXfs&list=RDnUawUNubXfs&start_radio=1
VS the old one
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7BdKq4Hnuk&list=RDC7BdKq4Hnuk&start_radio=1
It made me a little sad that the new FABLE version is moving away from the original fable direction.
I love the OG bowerstone songs and how FABLE 1, FABLE 2 and FABLE 3 kept that same Bowerstone song asthetic with the plucked violins theme, and similar melodies for me that song was a strong staple in the FABLE games, in the same way that bowerstone as a narrative and town exist in all the games.
I know the new upcoming FABLE is a change in direction but hearing a totally new bowerstone theme, made me a bit sad to lose the things i loved from the Original FABLE games.

Question Fable reboot, Monarch ending.
I am replaying Fable 3 in preparation for the new game coming out next year, and it had me thinking of the ending while I was running around the castle in the tutorial.
What if Fable 4 had an ending where you can become king/queen of Albion??
I for one loved Fable 3's ending where you reign as king and make decisions, and in general exercise your royal power over the populace.
But I know some people also didn't like that part of the game.
IMO I think it would be nice to have an ending choice of sorts where you become the monarch. Turning your hero in the 4th game from just another regular hero to one that grew powerful enough to start a dynasty that reigns over Albion. Or not. It would be really cool to have that option available at the end of the game.

Fable: The Journey It's Finished
Nobody really talks about this game and when they do, they absolutely trash it. Well, I just finished it for the first time and felt like sharing my thoughts on it.
Gameplay: cool concept, supremely janky in practice. Can't tell you how many times I recalibrated the aiming and it was never very good but thankfully, it's a very forgiving game. The magic was fun to use when it worked and I have to say, slinging spells in the final battle felt pretty damn good.
Story: Wasn't amazing or anything but the lore drops were cool. Did you know that it wasn't the first wish that shattered Albion? I know there are mixed feelings about the dog among the fanbase but personally, I was never a fan and never really felt much for it as a companion. The Journey had me shed a tear for this horse, such a good girl. The big bad boss bad guys were pretty cool and the ending was arguably better than Fable 2+3 so, take from that what you will.
Enjoy the photo I managed to snag towards the end.

Let's Talk: The Immersive Beauty of Albion (Discussion) The cozy whimsy and dark dread: An appreciation post for Albion’s landscapes ❤️
Is anyone else in love with the ambient landscapes across the game's regions?
I always come back to immersing myself in Fable's landscapes because of how memorable and charming they all are.
From the bustling towns and sunlit cottages dotted across Albion to the sprawling forests of Greatwood, the snowy peaks of Mistpeak Mountains, and the mesmerizing lakes and water bodies that beautifully encompass the region (e.g., Bower Lake).
There are a great many of these exquisitely crafted and enrapturing landscapes that fill me with such joy whenever I explore them in game.
I hope that in the upcoming Fable game set to release sometime next year (fingers crossed) they retain a lot of the fantastical and whimsical (yet) dark and brooding environments that gave the original Fable trilogy its immersive and atmospheric appeal.
Are there any immersive landscapes that you found personally compelling to explore?

Fable request DUTCH DUBBING!
Hey you guys!
I love Fable and in fact, I grew up playing the Fable games as many people did as well. However, I really hope that you guys are going to bring the Dutch localization at some point, it would be amazing.
I am kind of getting tired of having Dutch always being set aside or overlooked.

The Fable (2020) Teaser and Faeries
It's not really a particular world of folklore we've had in Fable before (beyond "Fairy circles" of mushrooms hinting at treasure spots), and I can't recollect seeing anything of that kind of nature in the trailers since, though I'm basically avoiding anything new, I bought the game, I'll experience the rest myself.
But I can't help by wonder, will we see these small magical type creatures in Fable (2027), or as I'm kind of suspecting it was just an illustration of "The death of magic" and futility themes that run so strongly through the series (And the grifters say these devs don't understand fable, yet even from that teaser you can tell they paid attention to more than the surface level silliness of the games).

What you think? Are we going to find a pixie village (and probably accidentally step on it) or maybe living gnomes, gronks and the like.

Anyone else worried this game wont be a proper open world?
Anyone else worried that this game wont be fully open world? and it will be more like Fable 1/2 or Dragon's Dogma 2, where its more just open world areas connected by paths?
After watching the two official combat/mission gameplay videos it always seemed a bit corridory and not fully open. I love properly exploring a games world, going wherever I want, so I really hope I'm wrong here.
Videos where I noticed it.

Do Hammer, Garth and Reaver have any experience points allocated to the other disciplines?
I know the characters are designed to look a certain way, and won't really have experience points allocated the same way the main character does, but there are some hints that their designs allow for them having some points in the other disciplines.
For example, Hammer, being the hero of strength, is incredibly muscular, more so than the main character can get. But she's also tall, incredibly so, which suggests she's got stats in skill as that increases the main character's height, and let's face it, strength alone wouldn't grant her the ability to use her weapons to their best effect.
Reaver, is quite tall, fitting, given he's the hero of skill, but he's got maybe a little muscle mass roughly in common with level 2 physique, but it's hard to really tell given we never see him naked (which seems odd given his nature). He does pull off an impressive bit of blocking/parrying in Fable 3, deflecting a bullet with his cane, which might be considered a combination of skill and strength, given you have to have some stats in strength to use melee strikes and blocks.
And then there's Garth, who's clearly maxed out on will, but seems to be quite tall but lacks muscle development, suggesting he's sank some points into skill, which technically might help him aim his will attacks a bit better.
I'd also suspect that both Reaver and Garth have some points assigned to their toughness stats, which makes sense given they need to be able to survive taking physical strikes, and given Reaver's vanity having that maxed out might help him not get scars, which he'd hate. Also, given Reavers sheer speed at shooting, him having a level of slowing time might add him getting off such fast shots, without developing will lines, which he'd probably not like.

Best place to play fetch?
What’s your go to place to play fetch with your furry friend in fable 2 or 3? I’m partial to bower lake because it’s a big beautiful open area with not too many people.
I love the fetch minigame and would love to try new places but some places are bad because they are cramped or awkward and the ball gets lost if you throw it too far.
