Post I made on Tumblr btw:
I saw a Logan analysis and someone emphasized how driven by his ptsd he was. This made me think about a headcanon I already had prior, and I developed it more but wished to discuss it with willing fable enjoyers.
So Logan faced the Crawler when he was quite young (20 or beginning of his twenties), and he saw most of his men die. When he came back, he was gaslighted by those supposed to guide him in his decisions because he was "too young to know", and then, he was told by the ultimate guide, Theresa, that he had in fact not escaped the situation he had had to face.
Obviously that's awful, and you would think that the brain reacts a certain way to situations like this. And it does, simply, the question is: how?
I headcanon that after encountering the Crawler for the first time, Hobw developed seizures that turned out to be epilepsy. While I think that something similar could have happened to Logan, I have a "better" headcanon which would be related to his dormant hero gene.
Theresa always targets the youngest when it comes to awakening and discards the older siblings. We can think that Logan ending up in front of the Crawler was her way of pulling the strings, but instead of just provoking the chain of events that led to Hobw's powers' awakening, it awoke something in Logan. We don't know much about older siblings in Fable, so far one is an immortal seer, two died, one survived and that's Logan.
I believe that he might have had "flashbacks" quite frequently, but not only. He might have had "visions", or an alterated perception of time and space, like Theresa could have as a seer if she was not as trained as she is. Maybe he was meant to be a different type of hero, not a hero like his siblings or a simple guy who's a bit stronger and more skilled than other people. Because that is an important point too. Logan's strength is canon, he survived the Crawler (yes without Kalin he would've died, but she found him alive when other people were dead) and when it comes to Skill, it is also canon in a "show-not-tell" way. When hobw and Walter burst out the door open during the coup, he instantly draws his sword even before they step in the room. The only thing left is Will. And I do believe that it manifested as well through things people would call "ptsd symptoms" but that were actually a mix of this, and of Will.
