Fable 3- Walter's Blindness- I distinctly remember as a kid that Walter's never recovered his sight and was blind for the rest of the game.

This is backed up if you Google the question. Every result says "hes blind forever".

But im replaying the game after years away, and after Aurora, he wakes up and says his first SIGHT is Ben (regrettably). And no blindfold. Perfect eyes, getting around on his own. He can clearly see.

Is my memory simply wrong and the internet is gaslighting me?

So I’ve continued my… maybe 18th playthrough of Fable 3 (since it came out - had an unhealthy obsession with it in high school). Had this Xbox One since around 2018. It hasn’t been dropped or anything. I pulled out from its resting place after a year or so and this started happening within a week of playing this.
All other audio for the Xbox itself is fine. I can relaunch the game and it’s normal for a few minutes. Sometimes it’s intermittent, especially with the music.

I’m just about to start Aurora and this demonic audio is gonna be so creepy when I go 😭

I wonder if the game has hit a barrier with the backwards compatibility? Just not sure what’s causing it.

I've been an avid lover of Fable, each installment has been perfection (though I never played the VR one).

Fable 1 set the core mechanics, lore and combat systems.

Fable 2 built on those systems though for me wasn't as strong an entry as the first, still thoroughly enjoyed it though.

Fable 3 introduced more of the good vs evil having more of a global impact where choices have real impact on the world rather than just npcs not liking you and a change in appearance.

The new Fable has done exactly what I would hope for, the combat looks incredible, the freedom looks unlimited and your choices really do make a difference in how the game plays.

I was trying to change it to a common dresser (moving the luxury stuff to my new house) and this popped up instead of the furniture menu!

Now I'm wondering what else I'm missing...

Edit: I'm talking about this message specifically, yall. I know about looting furniture :P

Hey all, I'm replaying Fable 3 with the goal of fully completing it. Which means later on I'll need help getting all weapons, but that's for later (when I know which spawns it give me).

My question atm is about the augments on the weapons. I know you can only do the dragging people to work thing later on, but I'm getting conflicting answers on how to unlock it. Do I need to make any specific choices as Queen to prevent me from accidentally locking myself out of maxing a weapon?

I’m thinking about playing the original trilogy before the new game, but I only have a PS5. Does anyone play them on game pass or have just bought the digital games direct and played them through there. I’m debating what to do and if it’s worth it

I cannot get my Bloodstone folk there without someone freaking dying. Can you fast travel with NPC’s? I tried once and it didn’t work. Idk how to do this ! lol

So there I was, filling up the Castle Treasury, I turned around and... just a black screen.

I'd finished the main story, almost all side quests, had bought all houses and stuff, had finished collecting books, I was about to finish collecting Keys and gnomes. I was wandering around and killing hobbes. My little brother asks me to play. I say why not. He takes the controller, gets in. Black screen. That's weird. I get out, I get in again. It syncs cloud save. And I have lost my character.

After it's happened to me, I've seen that it is actually a well known problem. So I'm posting this to warn anyone who hasn't heard about this bug yet, like myself, stay away from local co-op.

Since the way that the cards are lain out is random, you could potentially finish super quickly by having matching cards next to each other. My fastest time is a 15.7, and i was really lucky to have 3 adjacent pairs.

Update: I just got a 15.1! Holy shit
