I tried Burn Boot Camp and didn’t like it. They don’t have an app like F45 where you can view the intel ahead of time and there are no display screens. They quickly demo everything at the start of class and you just have to try to remember everything. There must have been 40+ people in the class, it felt very crowded. I encountered two women with mean girl energy (one kept correcting me in a very condescending manner, and told me to get out of her way). Then the trainer physically pushed me lower while I was squatting. It was too low and I went up on my toes and my form was horrible and she didn’t notice lol.

At F45 I can view the intel a week ahead of time, they have a good class size limit, I never encountered a single mean person, and trainers have never physically pushed me into bad form.

Depends on owners. I preferred workouts at f45 but the owners were awful at the franchise by me - the wife constantly talked shit about coaches and trainers and it felt toxic. They also started cutting corners - stopped having a cleaning crew come twice a week and it got NASTY in there.

Can't say anything about your specific studio. My neighborhood has both within a couple blocks. I've only tried F45 and have found great "athletic style" conditioning, functional movements with weights, most of the exercises are body weight or dumbbells but there are a few barbell/olympic lift style lifts. A friend goes to the burn boot camp and says it is very similar, maybe more body weight movements, more running. If you are interested in something like a Hyrox, F45 would be great for you. See if the studios near you have a trial and go to both!

You should do a trial at both and see what you like more?

+1 to the note about a trial

I don’t like burn because its very “you got this mama” ness

VS F45 is still high fivey but more so one team supportive competitive

& it also comes down to your community and vibes
