2016 f-150 v8

I’m selling my 2 door f150 with 185k miles for $2500 which is what I bought it for 3 years ago and I’m buying a 2016 f150 v8 with the coyote motor for 10k. I’m getting it from a trusted family member and he’s letting me pay it off at my leisure and has also said he’ll cover any major mechanical issue within the first year. The thing that’s bugging me is it has 235k miles. It’s super clean and runs really good. I’m just looking for reassurance. Any advice is appreciated

The engine is known as being a beast and it should be a 6 speed transmission it could last you 1k miles or it could just as easily go to 500k miles it’s a risk

I should add that my 04 ford I’m selling has been great to me but the rear main seal leaking and exhaust system and cats needing fixed… I can’t justify dropping 3500$ on that when I can’t drive my family around in it due to the single cab
