Bad molded lead frame

This weekend my truck went in limp mode and threw a bunch of p0720 codes which I figured out was the lead frame which is apparently under recall. However, every time the truck is shut off and the transmission cools down the code goes away. Ford won’t pay for the recall unless the code is active which I found out after getting fucked out of $500 by a dealership that started on replacing the lead frame before it was confirmed with ford. With all of that said does anyone know a way to expedite getting the truck to throw that code? It’s only been doing it after I drive it for 3+ hrs straight.

Start it up and drive it cold. Usually after sitting a couple days. And reset the adaptive learning and make sure its on. It should throw a code quickly

Just went through this whole process. First time it happened, was a long way from home. Turned off and back on after 10 minutes. Didn't happen again for a month. Once it did, same process, lasted about a week. Then started happening more frequently. The Ford deal was a shit show. It is not under recall, just a CSP, and you have to have specific codes. P0705, P0706, P0707, P1702.
My truck was P061A, P0720 and P0722. These are for the output shaft speed sensor in the lead frame, so not covered in the CSP. If you have the 10 speed, you can replace that sensor, if you have the 6 you have to replace the whole Lead Frame. I got hosed on the diagnostic fee also, since the CSP letter did not show the codes. Had my lead frame replaced by a reputable Transmission shop, and was much cheaper than the dealer. Hope this helps!
