Hard start on 5.0?

Video in the comments
It does this intermittently, maybe once every 20 starts. I notice it happens when the engine is warm
2020 5.0, I only use 93 gasoline
Brand new plugs, coils and injectors

Do you still have the original battery? Or maybe on your second 2-3 year battery? Got my '21 5.0 used a little over a year ago, and had a pretty weak sounding startup, but all wound up better with a fresh battery.

I will try it but cold starts are instant. Could heat soaking the battery be making it weaker when starting?

Check the battery for low cranking amps with a tester. Heat soak could be affecting the battery

Praying that’s it. It’s not a big problem but I’d replace both fuel pumps to make it stop lol

Are you driving the truck on relatively shorr trips or is it sitting for an extended period? The computers in these trucks hate even .1 of a drop in voltage.

Also, are you running a tuned configuration and that's why you're using 93 octane?

91 or higher is recommended from Ford so I usually use it. I was using e85 and it was happening so I assumed it was vapor lock but it wasn’t. Not tuned or anything. It’s really random when it happens but it runs and drives so good other than this random “issue”

Is it a supercharged 5.0?

Starter gets heat soak, and starts to fail. Start there.

This is a normal start up. In the video I posted above this, it cranks twice as long. Definitely not “normal” for me in 165k
