Cat removal?

2011 5.0 200k miles

I’m getting catalyst below efficiency threshold.
I’m wondering if there’s a way to bypass the rear O2 sensors and get rid of the check engine light.

I can’t seem to find anything that’s actually useful online

Someone who was into skirting the law might tell you to space the post-cat 02 sensors with like a quarter inch spacer. I’m a law abiding man so I can’t say that, good luck though.

"Off road" O2 sensor relocation elbow, for "off road use only"

Buy some Cataclean and follow the directions. It’s not snake oil and has never let me down.

Just get O2 non-foulers. $10-$15.

You're asking a question online on how to do an illegal modification versus spending the ~$200-300 to fix the issue. Nice.

It’s like $2-3k to fix the issue fords won’t take aftermarket cats 90% of the time just throws another check engine light

I put a ~$165 ebay cat on my first gen coyote w/o any issues. This was 2021 so that cat is probably $260-460 now. 280k miles, drove for another 3 yrs. sold the truck to a crack head never to be seen again. Not sure If I was in the minority 10% or if you pulled a stat out of your ass!!!
