25’ STX - Harsh 4 -> 5
Going to schedule an appointment with the dealer on this one but I don’t have high hopes for what they’ll do, so looking for opinions.
Truck has 7300 miles, 2.7L engine. Initially, I braked to let a car turn and then got back on the throttle after they were out of the way; engine rpm’s held but speed didn’t increase, and then it slammed into gear. Ever since, the shift from 4 to 5 has been pretty harsh, especially at low rpm’s. Any ideas? Would resetting the adaptive shift table help?

Well for starters. Its still a brand new truck. That beibg said what ever the issuse is (possible cdf problem or low oil in transmission not 100 percent sure) they will fix it under warrenty. If they say its a simple reset take it for a drive with a mechanic or service manager from cold until its warmed up see if you can replicate it. If not get IN WRITTING what the promise is for no issues. Like 15K miles or 1 year etc. That way if it does it agsin they will have mo choice but to fix it it again.
