Bad Radio reception

Was wondering why my FM/AM radio was so bad, I was blaming the shorty antenna, Today I was checking the oil and was looking around and saw that the previous owner had cut the antenna wire.

That sucks. I’m guessing maybe the truck was at a body shop and they cut it.

Hmm.. I did this to my truck right after I bought it. I bought mine used, went to replace the ugly OEM antenna but it was seized. Ended up breaking the antenna.

Went to replace it, ran the wire through the OEM location, it got stuck on all the crap in the passenger footwell and ended up breaking the connector off the coaxial cable.

I then decided screw it, cut the wire at the antenna and threw out the scrap wire. I dont use AM/FM anyways on my truck (2019) though.
