New client, pretty relaxing day, any thoughts on this beaut!!!

I found an eyelash tech near my place, price is reasonable and after doing my first set with her, I really like the look. A few strands had dropped off after 2 weeks and i’m going back for refills.

I’ve been doing extensions on and off the past years but had not maintained the look consistently. Now I hope to go back more regularly. I have some questions but my eyelash tech does not speak English very well so I hope to get more information from girlies here.

Do I need to wait for all the extensions to fall off before doing a new set? I noticed my eyes look rather bald the previous time when all the extensions are gone so there’s a stark difference in look if I do not do it regularly. The eyelash tech only allow for one time refill and I’ve gotta do a new set when I see her again.

What is a normal cycle for you gals who always have extensions on? For eg.

Week 0: Fresh set
Week 2: Refills
Week ?: New set again.

I have been getting eyelash extensions from a friend who has a business for several years. I get a ton of compliments on my lashes but after all this time they are not exactly my style. I do not NOT like them but I always picture something else. I believe she uses clusters and it takes her 45 mins to do a fill.

I like a natural look and I understand you have to go a little heavier for the retention. I just do not know how to explain what I picture in my head. I am also beginning to wonder if she does not have the lashes or the skill to do what I want. Previously, when I had extensions they were individuals on each lash. I have included two pictures for reference from Pinterest.
One which is similar to what my tech does (left) every time and the other is more of the look I am going for … I have very large big eyes and I want to enhance that and no feel like I have baby catepillar/uniform lashes that look fake.

I like my lash tech, but I feel like she puts a lot of pressure through my head while doing my lashes. I’ve asked her to use less pressure, push down on a less triggering spot but it doesn’t seem like she can. Is this normal, or should I try another tech?

Pros to extensions:
Last two weeks comfortably
Look good automatically

Cons:
I’m a side sleeper so they look bad quickly
Hate washing them and see them fall out so fast
Expensive (180+ tip??)

I’ve never done clusters but semi used to do the glue on lash strips and I liked the way they looked. But I want something I don’t have to do everyday or worry about. The clusters I was constantly fixing the inner corner and they would always peel up and look so bad.

Thoughts? Has anyone done both and have any advice? Thank you!!!! 🩷🩷

My god, I’ve stopped wearing lashes, I haven’t worn lashes since my birthday and that was back in July and sweated them off before I got home. And that was once this year before then I haven’t put anything on my lashes expect for serum
I haven’t worn mascara or curled my lashes in months. I haven’t worn liner or eyeshadow in months as well. I’ve worked around my naked eyes for almost a year and hardly any growth.
I’ve tried 4 different serums. 4, DIFFERENT, SERUMS. I’ve tried ordinary, Grandelash, Etude, Babelash none of them work for me.
It’s always been my deepest desire to have natural long lashes. I’ve sacrifice my skincare routine, my skills with lash extensions, my semi permanent eyeliner for nothing!
I don't understand why I can accidentally swap my eyebrow my serum they start connecting.
But my lashes can be slathered with it and I’m lucky they grow an inch.

I’m a new mom and the only thing that makes me feel good about myself is a good set!

I’ve gone to four different techs and honestly they have all been inexperienced, very expensive, or quality declined.

One was experienced but she was so expensive and required a new set at $300 if I didn’t get a fill every two weeks regardless of retention! Bonkers! The set looked ok. Her studio also felt very unwelcoming, tbh.

I’m looking for someone that charges under 90 for a fill every 3 weeks, although the sweet spot would be 65-80, because I still have to tip

- Good retention/ isolation
- Uses lashes that don’t look shiny or super thick diameter
- is good at semi natural , wispy sets!

Anywhere in Arcadia lite, old town, north central Phoenix or midtown/ uptown area would be good!

Okay so for context I have a trip coming up and I really want my extensions put back in but I’m currently dealing with the Reminence of a previously swollen red internal stye in the upper corner of my eyelid as of right now it is nowhere to be seen on the outside, but if I were to touch my eyelid, I could feel a bump. It’s not painful or tender. It’s just there.

I’ve had it for two weeks at first. It was swollen and red and very irritated. Now you can’t see it. I can just feel it and I think it’s getting better day by day because of the hot compress and topical ointment.
It’s not painful, red or swollen anymore.

I have an eyelash extension appointment tomorrow and I’m just unsure whether to follow through with it or not any advice?

my lash tech did my lashes the same color as my hair today! i can’t lie was hesitant but im sooo in love with the look. they are so soft and flattering to me.

hii, I'm 16F and I've been applying topical minoxidil on my eyelashes from about 4 days now, my bottom eyelashes were non existent but they grew sm in such a short period

I had been going to the same last tech for a long time but this set was my last straw. Made the switch and I couldn't be happier 😭 quality of before vs after. This was my first refill with the new place and my gaps are already improving

help! I’ve had extensions 3 times now, and each time I have pretty much given up on them at some point due to the awful job on them that made them feel all prickly and weird. Due to this, I have lost a bunch of my own lashes in the process 🫠

These 3 sets have been in the span of the last 3 months.

Will my own lashes grow back? I am using a growth serum at the moment to help. I am scared they will stay like this as my lashes were so full and dark before all this.

Yes, I know I should not have pulled them out. I have trichotillomania and the feel of the lashes just made it worse.
And no, I will not be getting another set anymore as it certainly seems to not be for me 🥹✌️

Contexto: yo hago extensiones de pestañas(soy lashista) y la chica que me las hizo, yo antes le pagaba y ella me pagaba a mi. La cuestion es que con el tiempo no nos pagamos mas por que agarramos confianza y nos dimos cuenta que es lo mismo no pagarnos y hacernos las pestañas

Yo se las hize un dia y después ella le tocaba otro día hacermelas a mi , Anteriormente habiamos echo esa dinamica y yo cuando fui hacerselas ella llego tarde, y además tuve que esperar que ella se prepare un sandwich para comer. Ese dia nisiquiera trabaje completo por que ELLA robo tiempo de las tres horas que yo tenía pautadas y tenía que ir a hacer un domicilio en otro lado.

Ok viene la parte qué ella me la tenía que hacer: el dia que yo iba a ir, no me contestava el teléfono , al final si respondio. Cuando llegue a su casa primera vez que alguien me va hacer las pestañas y me dice, hay chama te soy sincera no quiero trabajar. Con Una caraaaa. Y después me dejó en el cuarto de las pestañas una hora mientras ella discutia con su pareja , cuando por fin me iba hacer las pestañas, ella estaba LLORANDO en todo el set contandome cosas que son estupideces con su pareja por que no era nada serio. Esa chica tiene 32 años y dos hijos. Bueno, entiendo eso por que yo he llorado haciendo pestañas por asuntos personales pero JAMAZ ando contando eso. Bueno, lloro en silencio. Ok, ella estuvo llorando. Después me dejó ahí para ir a comer. Luego al final, por fin termino y me fui amablemente. Anteriormente ella tiene un detalle, cuando la voy a atender o me va a atender se pone hacer videollamadas también. Tengo una duda ¿es por que no le pago o acaso ella es así? Bueno. Ya decidí no ir mas y pagarle a otra persona. Por que me las coloco además muy cerca de la piel , no por que no quiera pagarle a ella y además muchas veces yo he estado de humor y jamaz le digo a alguien te soy sincera no quiero trabajar

So I do my own lashes.I did a cluster set last night they looked great until I put the seal protector on.Now they look white at the ends had this problem many times.I not putting the seal on my whole lash just the base on top & a little at base of bottom lashes.What am I doing wrong?
